Remember Pokemon are mythical creatures from a GAME. The GAME says Paras and Parasect are bug types therefore they are! Because this is a GAME made up of MYTHICAL creatures the outside world may have some connections but what dominates is the fact that its mythical and what gamefreak have decided.

For those who didn't understand my other post:
What I am saying here is that all the pokemon that are classified as bug types by gamefreak should be safe and the ones who aren't but look like or sound like or act like bug pokemon should be voted upon.

O:O w8 w8 guys xD i think some o u got it wrong, no1 did say that paras isnt a bug xD its jsut that drago used him as an example taht he is a crab so that crabs can be bug types too :P lolz
Ofcourse parasect belongs to bugs

:( democracy sux. The result gotten by voting is just an opinion of a majority, not necessarily the right one.

I can see where you're coming from. However, since we are together as a group voting is fair as majority rules I'm afraid. D;

Now on to some lighter topic:
Do you guys think that some bug Pokemon deserves different secondary type? If you do, which Bug and which type?
IMO pinsir should be Bug/Fighting, and Masquerain Bug/Water with levitate ability.

thats true. But i like it more if we have one absolute person that decides. (drago in this case) --.- but hes wrong in assuming that crabs are bugs.
I dont like democracy, id like to see our socitety evolve into something like comunism, where wed have like what the designated person says its always taken as a truth, and if some1 dissagrees they try to persuade that person, with right evidence, however if he fails, the head person is considerd right :D (however the head person must be unbiased) xD but i shoulnd be talking about that here lolz :P

ANNOUNCEMENT! VOTING COMMENCE.
Since there has been a lot of dicussion and I mean A LOT of discussion about the classification of whether or not certain pokemon should be bug types, I have decided to fastforward the poll to now since Draggy is getting quite annoyed with the "heated" opinions and facts.

To vote you must send ME CURIOUS and PM with your vote in this structure.
My Vote (Real and an example. No other votes should be posted. They are private)

Krabby: NO
Kingler: NO
Corpish: NO
Crawdaunt: NO
Kabuto: YES
Kabutops: YES
Paras: YES
Parasect: YES
Vibrava: YES
Tranpich: YES

Place YES or NO next to each pokemon to see if it SHOULD or SHOUDN'T be a bug type and added to the list. Please I know you might not like how the votes are structured but please give me a chance it will work. :)

(The voting will last for two days at the maximum. )

I think Pinsir should be A fighting type as well.

Well let's see...hmm......Volbeat and illumise should be part flying, and....um...yeah! kricketune should definitely be part fighting, also cascoon should be part poison, and parasect and paras should be part poison too.
Masquerian should be bug water aswell, vespiqueen should be part poison.
i know, big opinion, but thats what i think.

parasect should be poison yeah.
Vespequeen, acctually is a queen bee, and she doesnt have poison (as far as i know) so thats why they didnt make her poison, but they did make beedrill poison.

Still vespiqueen would look good in poison, i stand by what i said.
