You have much more variables if pokemon were real (on in the anime) that it is actually impossible to tell, what will be more effective just by merely glancing at the foe.

Yes, you are right. I think some Pokemons like Typhlosion can use Tackle. Is it?

Because Typhlosion has good special attack and speed only. It needs to have a good moveset.

Well IMO the 2nd Generation in whole is not as hyped up even though Gold and Silver were like the best games in Pokemon. xD Well I agree with Rene it could use a better move set. Maybe because there is a lot of new people playing pokemon and completly forgot about typhlosion. The only way to get it is through Colosseum. (correct me if I'm wrong)
 
Just as I said before, you can get Typhlosion in Emerald if you caught 200 Pokemon. Choose Cyndaquil then evolve it. I know its hard but thats one way of getting Typhlosion.

I guess trained up ones would if thier trainers also did. Wild Typhlosion might have something which is similar to the precurser of Christmas (like the old pagal holiday its supposively based off)

2nd gen never had the hype that the other had. Plus its moveset and the fact that all the other fully evolved starters were dual element types while Typhlosion was a single element type

In fact the 2nd generation starters where the only set of 3 starters that never had two element types even when evolved.

Scenario - A couple of days ago you found a Typhlosion on your doorstep looking confused and beat up, being the kind soul/fan person you are, you take it in and care for its wounds and you two begin to form a friendship. However when you find it today to your suprise that a message is next to the Thyphlosion written in very bad writing, explaining that it is a human that been cursed by a wizard, and that not only it requests you help in lifting it, its also actually someone that you dislike. It also states that if it fails you might be cursed by the wizard as well. The Thyplosion seems to geasure to you what it wrote the letter and that it took ages to do so.

Do you:
A/ Help out the typhlosion to regain its true form, know all to well you'd prefer this person to say that way are, and knowing if you fail, you may share its fate?
B/ Convince the typhlosion that it is better of as it is, knowing that if you are successful you could have the typhlosion you're always wanted, however knowing that you could also alienate the poor being by trying to do so?
C/ Disbelieve the letter?

Its a scenario, you don't need to answer two questions if you don't want to, just thought it would be a fresh change :D

Basically the Scenario is a choice between three actions.

Worst that can happen is I turn into a Typhlosion too which is great. :D
