I agree, just as long as it takes to catch it. I honestly don't think it would take 5 hours. Depends on level, status, health, and the ball you use though. Like you use a pokeball when it's at full health, no status. That'd be stupid to do though. I'd at least move up to a great ball. xD

It would all depend on how strong my Pokemon are, how strong Jirachi is, and how many Pokeballs, Revives, and Potions I have. If I have no Pokeballs, then I'd rather run and let it go instead of defeating it, or it wiping me out. If I did have everything I needed, I'd take all the time necessary.​

I would catch it about 2 or 3 hrs because if i have six pokemons and all their levels were
40-50 it will be very hard to catch
But i caught jirachi by a cheating device and it was in level 5 how disappointing (except for pokemon mystery dungeon)

It will take long, i'm not sure since i've never tried catching it. I am quite good at catching legendaries so about 15 minutes for me.
