If you're going to send him a message, I don't think you should mention age. Also, try not to send too many or else he may get annoyed, and you don't want that. I think sending a message would be helpful if you don't get a reply soon. It's just to let him know that you care enough to send another one, but it also shows that you aren't expecting too much of it. I think just a message should suffice for this situation, just try not to make yourself sound bad.

Wouldn't not wanting to sleep make you less lazy? My brother is going to become a Chemical Engineer, so I kind of know what you have to do. But since it's chemical, I might not. Good luck with that.
