Nope it isnt, people think he is cute too...
i instantly think he is cute... and the i liek them part
 
When you say "Mudkip" you don't instantly think of cute Pokemon, you think of that gross monstrous swamp monster it evolves to xD whereas with something like Pachirisu you think "OH MY GOD THAT'S ADORABLE I WANT TO HUG IT <3333333"
 
That's unfair, as Pachirishu doesnt evolve >:C...
Mudkip is adorable too, i had an plushie of him till my sister sold him without my permission >:C

may I know how does the point thingy work??

And, it seems like the cute pokemon are mainly the pre-evolution while the fully-evolved pokemon are usually fierce but still adorable xD
