5th Gen 雨     Are the new games worth the money?

    Give me your 100% honest opinion ;]

    I haven't bought either of the new games yet, and I'm still debating over whether I should buy one or not. Did you enjoy it? Was it worth the money? Was it up to your expectations?
     
    Yes, it is worth every dime and dollar you have, it's a very good game.

    Most Pokemon games are very good in general, but Black and White takes the cake. I'm very satisfied that I spent $35 on such a great game, and I want you to enjoy it too.

    $30 for Black or White? OF COURSE ITS WORTH IT! The games are sooo great. The games aren't perfect, but they are worth the money. I love the games, the lack of Legendaries is a little disapointing, but the story makes up for it. BUY THIS GAME if you have the money.

    Ge White. I have Black, my freind has white, and White forest is cooler. And I like Zekrom and Thunerous more than Tornadous and Reshiram.
     
    Lack of legendaries? :O
    I read elsewhere that they're packed with Ubers and legendaries, crap xD

    110% worth it, best Pokemon yet. You will regret it if you dont, its worth every penny.

    EDIT: and like always the two versions arnt that different. Black has Black City, while White has White Forest. In Black you catch Reshiram and battle Zekrom, and vise-versa in White. Also, the Pokemon you can catch are different in each game, as usual. So really, it is whichever games you like better aesthetically; which Pokemon would you rather have on the cover of the game? Simple as that ahaha :)

    Well there is always events right? I like Reshiram, it beat Kyurem, an ice-dragon legendary that was 23 levels higher than him. Oh and one hint you should keep with you, DO NOT USE THE MASTER BALL ON ZEKROM. It is quite the waste, as you have no choice in capturing Zekrom, unless you have a full party and have used all 700+ PC boxes. Although looking at that, it sounds more like an ad than a hint.
     
    It is more than worth it! I am surprised it did not cost more actually, because it is really a great game!

    Oh I don't want to spoil it, but lets just say... his catch rate is one of the highest I have seen, and once you play a litttle bit you will learn the plot, and the story of Reshiram and Zekrom. Its actually quite a good one.
     
    Its worth buying. I'll list the PROS and CONS so you can decide,

    PROS:
    -Enhanced graphics
    -Animated pokemon battle sprites
    -Cool rival (especially Cheren)
    -Good storyline (just see for yourself)
    -Dream World and Battle Union (even after you beat the main story, you won't get bored)
    -The pokemons Reshiram and Zekrom are both cool.

    CONS:
    -Some people says that some pokemon design in Gen V are a bit.. meh :s
    -The naming of some pokemons in Gen V are... meh :s

    Note about CONS: Don't worry about it though, not all pokemons in Gen V are designed poorly or named poorly. Well if you don't care about that, then you gotta buy it. It is a must!

    The dream world completely escaped me. Yes that is definatly a good thing too. I wish it would come out already, but beggars cant be choosers.

    And yes, some of the names are pretty bad. Roggnrolla and Boldore come to mind. I thought Timburr and Girdurr where rather clever though.
     
    Oo-er. I got curious and began peeping at plot spoilers x_x

    I fail to see how anything can be worse than the name Regigigas, seriously ;P

    get pokemon black! for the Legendary that is Fire/Dragon!

    But i must admit that Pokemon white comes with alot of additional pokemon in the white forest so..

    If you get the game make sure to get Victini through Wifi

    And if you check out

    bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mon_Black_and_White_Versions

    it will show you the Version-exclusive Pokémon..

    So enjoy it though the story at the end is cool!
