Suneora stood in line to receive space suits, all three of her Pokemon still behind her.
Funny... in the space ships said to roam about Orenya thousands of years ago, people didn't need space suits at all...
"And here you go," said the woman who was handing suits out. Suneora took hold of the space suit and slumped down briefly--it was apparently very heavy.
"And you have three Pokemon?" the woman continued. "Then you need..."
"Two OXY masks," Suneora answered.
"Two?" the woman asked with a confused look on her face. "Don't you mean three?"
"The masks help Pokemon breathe in outer space," Suneora clarified. The woman nodded. "But my Haunter is a ghost, so she doesn't breathe."
"Oh," the woman concluded, still sounding a bit unsure though. She still gave Suneora three masks, one of which Suneora just put into her bag after walking off to put on her space suit.
"Supposing she doesn't know much about magic," Suneora figured. "Especially not ghosts. Right about now how are Earthlings taught in school?"
<"What do they teach Earthlings in school these days?"> Kaleni corrected.
"Who's 'they'?" Suneora asked Kaleni.
<"Does it matter?"> Kaleni replied. Suneora just continued putting on her space suit.
"It feels very weird," Suneora noted after being all suited up. Then she tried walking, but every time she took a step, the foot part of the suit fell down and dragged along the floor a little.
"These are probably for people five inches taller than me..." Suneora figured. "And probably twice heavy."
<"So are we supposed to put these on?"> Sureana asked, holding a mask in her hands.
"Not you," Suneora answered, "but Chikamo and Kaleni, yes."
Chikamo tried to put her mask on, but she had trouble doing so... she was just pushing it between her petals in vain.
"I may help," Suneora offered as she knelt down to help out the Cherimu. She had to open her petals momentarily, then slip the elastic band over two of her petals in order to make sure it fit snugly around her face. When that was done, Chikamo closed her petals back up again--without too much of a problem.
Kaleni also had a hard time getting her mask on because she had no hands to do it with. Again, Suneora helped her out. She had an easier time helping out Kaleni than Chikamo--no annoying petals to work around. Just a bigger head was all.
<"I think you're right,"> Sureana said to Suneora. <"I don't really need a mask--it looks funny on me anyways. I only breathe if I want to.">
"Yes," Suneora commented, "so is the nature of a ghost."
When all was done, Suneora and her three Pokemon went back to the launch pad to await liftoff.
