You asked for it and now you have it. The Weekly Pixel Art Challenge begins!

The current format is for these contests will operate on changing themes chosen by the current host in conjunction with the previous week's winner. All entries should follow the current theme and the host will determine if an entry does not should there be a question.

Once the contest is finished the host and a select and horribly biased panel of judges will decide the winner who will (hopefully! eventually!) be rewarded with a shiny emblem for their hard work.

The theme for this first week should be a popular one: fusions. Good luck!

Main Rules:

• One entry per person. You may update your entry until the end of the contest.
• You can't enter if you picked the theme.
• All work must be made from scratch (unless the current theme states otherwise).
• No previously made work.

• Canvas Size: 80x80 pixel max
• Palette Requirements: None
• Transparency: Optional
• Animation: Optional
• Other: List or provide the the pieces of your fusion.

simple two-sprite fusion.

I used frame two of Feraligatr and Aggron. i'm afraid though because i've only used two sprites and only ran out of ideas. i swear one of those fusion spriters are going to enter a 9321840+ sprite fusion.

OK heres what I gots:

Hes a fusion of Absol,swablu and brelloom
and swallot I guess cause I used his color pallet on everything except the claws (hand and feet) and the horn

Materials: Lugia, Dialga, Giratina (Origin Forme), Garchomp, Zekrom

I did 2 shiny emerald sprites, and one normal DP sprite, and got this: Rhysaring with rayquaza coloring

Eh, not very complicated, but it's cute. Gen 4 Wobbuffet and Drifloon.

woogooru(face and wings), mighteyena(back left leg), persian(body, backright leg), sandshrew(body color), alakazam(wing color), luxray(front legs), houndoom(tail), and taurous(tails tip)

Well this is my entry :S
It doesnt have a name, but i've typed it as Dragon/ghost
All sprites are 1st frame, and recent one's

This is a Fusion of:
Crobat - Wings HG/SS
Drifblim - Main body PT
Mismagius - Wavy skirt PT
Horn, - Wormadam PT

Pallette's:
Seeing as so I made this pokemon Dragon/Ghost type
I Decided to use different shades blue


Wings/Body = Gabite and Gible
Skirt = Tangrowth
Eyes = Yanmega
Jewel's on skirt = Rayqaza,

Here is my entry,
-I used Rampardos as a base,
-Zekrom for the tail,
-Dialga's chestplate,
-Larion for lower jaw,
-Magnezone for the shoulder plates,
-Tyranitar for the upper kneecaps,
-Armaldo for the lower kneecaps,
-and an edited Raikou headpiece merged with the helm.

This was really fun to work on, since I hardly go into the realm of splices/fusions.

Ambipom (Base and body shape)
Mankey (Nose)
Grunbull (eyes)
Umbreon (ears, scratched design)
Primape (anger point)
Lucario (feet)
Mamoswine (colour of mask to colour in the nose)
Dewgong (base colour)

Because no fusions are original any more, I made this for fun.

This one never quite got a name :(
I assumed it to be Psychic and either dragon or steel.

I made this a long time ago... I do believe I used Empolemon's body, Dialga's diamond breast plate, and Espeon's head/coloring. There are probably a few other details from various pokemon, but I forget.

This isn't my best work, but I appear to be losing a lot of my sprites that I made.

ok i used houndoom for the base
manetric for palette and details around the head and legs
aerodactyl for the tail
dratini for the ears
electabuzz for the markings
and croconaw for the spikes up the back

It's one of my best, but I don't think it is the best out of the ones here D:

But I still wanna join for the taking part. :D

First, let me thank everyone who entered our first weekly contest. I think we had a great turnout and I'm glad to see all the fine work that's been done. Let me say that choosing just one winner this week was not easy, and as much as I'm tempted to name several winners in the end there's can be only one.

The sprites you used blend so seamlessly it makes you wonder if it's not a leaked sprite from Black and White. Your entry really exemplifies the theme of fusions as well as shows off your skill in making it.

I don't know..that's kind of a fakemon. The process is amalgamation where you fuse different parts of Pokémon to make a fakemon. :/
Despite that,it looks superb and congratulations.
