To celebrate red and blue 11 anniversary list your best moments you had in the game and where did u buy your copy at?

Oh, I have way too many favorite moments to list them all. It'd take me a day to make the list :P

But, uh, I first got my copy when my Dad decided I was old enough to get my own gameboy color and he picked out a random game (pokemon red). Ever since I've been hooked!

P.S. Red/Blue are STILL my favorite versions.

parents bought me a used one.

i enjoyed the game alot, i played until Charizard and Mewtwo were level 100.

then i quit until my sister got Pokemon Sapphire

I still haven't beaten my Blue version xD
I got it for free from a friend this summer, so It's actually my newest pokemon game lol. The only speshul moments with it I've had so far is beating Brock with a charmander and no potions, and catching mew =D

Well, not exactly favorite memory, but it is memorable. Catching Missingno, though when he was deposited in my box my Mewtwo dissapeared. Too bad I lost my Blue version when my Blastoise was level 99...

Getting some weird virus while trading with a friend near a Lavtop. I ended giving him a tentacruel, which somehow turned into a venusaur and I got a dragonair which turned into a messed up sprite called 'virus x' if I remember correctly

Ahh Red, so many memories...I remember beating the elite Four all by myself...that was hard.
I bought it at Wal-Mart, when they still sold it.

I got given Blue for Christmas the year it came out, and my brother got given Red. I remember competing with him, when we were 9 and 7 years old respectively, while leaving a pile of presents untouched next to us, as we were so fixated on the big yellow game boy screens.

Hmmm. When me and my friend did a simple Hitmonchan/Lee trade and it all got messed up and I ended up with both and his Hitmonchan got stuck in the link cable. I laughed.

The first time I saw Missingno and went to Glitch City. Also when my Blastoise beat my rivals Venusaur and I beat the Pokemon League for the first time I was like freaking out. 'Course I was like 5 =D

I remember about 6 years ago my Pokemon Red went through the washing machine so everytime I play it, it keeps restarting every 3 seconds. But ever since I got a Blue of eBay so im not fussed really anymore.

I was 11 years old when Red/Blue were released. My dad bought Red for my younger brother for his birthday (he was turning 9), and I got Blue for Christmas two months later. They weren't the first game we had by any means (we had an SNES before then), but they were the first Game Boy games we ever had.

I think by the time New Year's 2000 came around, my Blue version was unplayable because of extensive damage Missingno did to it. XD

Got Pokemon Blue Version and the Berry Game Boy Color in September 1998. From The Real Canadian Superstore. Was a "late" birthday present.

Most fond memory was when some Nintendo thing came to a nearby mall and had some event thing for the TCG and Red & Blue. I got these round badge things (Boulder & Cascade) on a chain. Also got my first ever Mew from this odd machine that looked kinda SNES like. The stand for it was some shade of blue and the "Mew machine" was yellow.

Had loads of fun with Gold Version's PC exploit when Gold & Silver were out, haha.

I remember the most when I duplicated my last rare candy in the game (including hidden ones). Then I sold them all for tons of cash. I then remembered I forgot to save one candy for more duplication! I had no more rare candies and had to train from scratch.

I got my Blue when I was around 6-7 from Santa Claus.

Somebody can't count. Red and Blue were released in 1997, that was 12 yrs ago.

According to GameFAQS, Pokemon Red/Blue were released in America on 9/30/1998

...so we are coming up on the 11th anniversary. ^_^

I bought Red in 6th grade when my bus driver's son was selling them and my dad got me Blue last year before he went to jail.

Memories include screaming on my first trip to the Pokemon Tower.

Hahah. My mom came home with a Red version and Pinball for me one day after work when she found them in the parking lot.
and my fondest memory was playing with the Reds old save file(which had a Missigno and Mewtwo and Mew on it |D) till it resseted and deleted it. worked fine after that though o.o

I don't know where my mother got my versions of the game but I did enjoy playing them. One of my best memories was finding out about the glitches inside of the games
