I guess it is revealing lots of info, but it'll be useful for when you play the game, right? ;) And I'm not going to reveal all the poke's in a flash, I was just showing the starters, the bug "starter" and a bird "starter". I will probably not update for a while (remember, being more frugal with the screens to leave more mystery, as Chrono Cr@cker advised.), so I thought it would be nice to show a bit of stuff before I mysteriously went away for a while. I'm really going to try my best to get lots of work done, rather than try to impress people with screens in the near future.

LOL... This morning I got a LOT of work done, mainly with text. Now you can play as a girl without your mother being called a father. ;) The text was edited to become your father's words and in the female house it was still a woman saying it! ;) Just in case you didn't know, your father is with you at the beginning rather than your mother.

So here's a list of what I did recently:
-Drew out Felou and Morgist (Dark/Ghost Felines)
-Drew out Squerrn (Normal Squirrel)
-Sprited Squerrn (Looks really good, but I won't show it)
-Changed text as aforementioned
-Added Jessie's sprite into the game
-Changed Jessie's overworld sprite
-Fixed the waterfalls
-Fixed Route B

That's what I've been doing! ;)
 
Goatman, your sprites are actually fairly good! I'd love it if you submitted some sprites to me. Try to make them look a bit more R/S/E though, since the sprites shown in your sig look fairly G/S/C.

I have been working my rearend off on mapping, textediting, etc., and now a really cool plotline occurs! It involves a maze. *hint hint*, but no screens for you! ;) Not just yet anyways. I feel like the beta isn't too far away. ;)
 
Cool,well my pokemon use the poses of the pokemon from G/S/C. But what pokemon did I use to create Infernaw. See I can be mysterious to XD.
 
Actually, now I'm more interested in completely original sprites... like from scratch. I know that some of my old ones were meshed to look different, but lately I've been sketching what I want and then spriting and it's turning out well.

Today... I suppose I'll be working some more. A beta is soon approaching! I promise! I can't give a date, but it will be pretty soon! ;) Keep faithful! ;)

Alright... I can finally edit the battles! Hurrah! Now I'm unstoppable! *cackles in a shadowed room as lightning strikes* Oh... um... someone's reading this post... yes... ahem... I wasn't being a maniacal villain... right... anyways.

I'll be doing edits on battles... and now the battle with Jessie is complete! Hurray! They'll be like your second rivals kind of like they were in Yellow Version, except now they'll have some of their old poke's plus new ones from SoE.

On another note, you will ONLY be able to catch/receive/find SoE pokemon in the first beta. Haha! There are some really cool ones, like Squerrnal, a squirrel pokemon, whose signature moves are things like Thief, Hypnosis, and Dizzy Punch. ;) You will also be able to catch Sarpal, the pre-evolution to Lapras near the Rea Falls, along with lots LOTS more. ;)

Just thought I'd clue you in...

BTW, should I post a walkthrough when I release the beta, for those who like to look at maps, pokemon stats. etc? If I do I'll make it like the G/S/C guide used to look. ;) :)

;) Today I have been working on spriting. Squerrnal (the squirrel) and it's evolution have both been sprited, including backsprites, and they look fantastic! ;) I think that I'm really getting better at it with each new sprite I make. So I'll make tons! Haha! ;)

[BTW, to those who are wondering, YES, my favorite smiley is the wink. I use it everywhere for some unexplainable reason... you ready for it? Here it is... TRIPLE WINK ;) ;) ;)!]

So, yeah... I've been having problems with P.E.T. yet again. *growls* But I'm sure they'll be resolved rather shortly. Thanks as ever for ze constant support.

Alrighty... To update...

Sarpal, Lapras' pre-evolution is now fully ready. Hurrah! You'll be able to catch it at Rea Falls. . . What else... I changed Birch's sprite. Now "he" is a girl. ;) Professor Azure to be exact. I've also been doing lots of pokedex entries, and spriting. I have a giant list of things I need to do to get the beta ready, but I'll try and get them done ASAP.

Sorry for the recent lack of screenshots (quite contrasted to how I used to operate), but now I'll be working hard on the beta, and it's better that there are some elements of surprise when you play the game. I have lots of cool stuff planned, and even a trap which you will undoubtedly fall into without even realizing it. ;)
 
Oh no, a trap. Well nice updates once again. (dang CC for telling you not to show us so much)
 
No, you didn't post it yet... Let's see it! Thanks for the support! Editing Birch's sprite has been a pain in the you-know-what, but it's finally nearly over! One more to do! ;) Then I'll be moving on up to the next thing on my list.
