Yeah! I just downloaded the patch and am playing through chapter 1 now. So far im having fun, but the game gets really laggy during some parts and it can make things difficult to play, but i think thats just because of my emulator...

I just pulled my 1st needle, and I'm heading towards that mountain, but first I wanna find the last mouse and get the shield stealer.

If I had my comp, I would so play the english one. I've played the actual game (imported) on my GBA SP and it was fantastic. Why Nintendo of America never translated this gem is beyond me.

But anyway, GO MOTHER 3!

Also, wow. I'm still only in Chapter 2. And I REALLY hate Chapter 3.

I also hate the boss at Mixolydia's needle. Then again, I'm always underleveled.

I'm at that boss and having the same trouble as previous times! I gotta grind before I fight it again. Also for chapter 3, I usually just grind a bit in the beginning, and for the boss just Dance and Mimic, while spamming PK Thunder.

True, it is their fault. Reggie Fils-Aime is also very passive-aggressive about fans asking for the 3rd installment in North America. Some speculate that's why EarthBound never got to the VC but why not sell it again? Back then, in the early-mid 90's, RPGs were never thought of. It would do really great if they released all 3 games, considering that now we have a whole bunch of RPGs.

Just started Chapter 3. Usually just speed-run it, considering...

Yokuba (Or Fassad, as the translation calls him.) does most of the work, then when you fight the tank, you have Kumatora to back you up. (And look awesome doing it.) Then in Chapter 7, you have Lucas.

Hopefully, grinding there will give you enough exp for the Masked Man fight. PK Love γ is ridiculous.

I had a bit of throuble on the 1st Masked Man fight, but the 2nd one.... he was a lot easier. just so...sad...
Mother 3 has been the only game to make me cry.

I got the patch two minutes after it came out. I don't know why I never bothered posting here. o_o;

I'm currently on chapter 3 because I'm taking my time. Just out of curiosity, how are you people playing the game? Emulator or...?

I'm playing through the game, talking to every person, checking anything that looks like it can be checked, getting my butt kicked by the Chapter 4 boss.

Re-attempt fighting the King Porky Statue without using PK Flash or the New Year's Eve Bomb. Using debug room to become Lv. 99 of course. Just need to get Lv. 60 Kumatora first for PK Ground.

By the way, did anyone else find learning PK Flash hilarious?

I've been following this fanlation since around the time it began and I'm just so excited that it's finally released! Did anyone else sign up to be emailed upon it's completion? xD

Right now... I'm sadly still at the beginning. I downloaded the patch, applied it, and put it on my flash cart, however, I haven't actually got around to doing much more than that.
(Need to find time to play it. :o)

Careful, it has 100,000,000 HP, there's like a 9 minute Youtube video of someone trying to do that before exhausting their supplies/HP/PP.

Everything was default but Food was Nut Bread (Inside Joke), and Favorite thing was Puffin.

I beat the game a couple days ago, such a sad ending.

I can't get any cheat codes to work, sadly, and I wanted to do a themed playthough.
