Spoiler:Hard doesn't begin to explain Mother 3's difficulty level. And you don't have to get the front and back Battle Memory sprites to unlock hard mode. It just gives extra dialogue in the ending telling you how to enable it. Speaking of how to enable it:
Name yourself "HARD MODE" in either Chapter 1 or 4. The hard mode gives all enemies double HP and attack power. Imagine the horror that is the Barrier Trio.

Yeah, I just found that out. You can just put in HARD MODE as your name in the shrine when you're controlling Flint. But I didn't think the game was really that hard normally. You need to level grind a bit, but it's certainly not that hard if you have the right equipment for each boss.

Also, has anyone heard the unused music in the game? Barren Factory is awesome. (Not unused BTW.)

I really felt that Mother 1's slogan works well with Mother 3. Of course, its impossible to wait until the ending of Mother 3 to cry.

I find it sadder how I can never keep Boney alive during most boss battles.
Although that usually starts happening in late Chapter 7.

I knew the ending. I knew it, and I still cried. I was trying to read the ending dialogue aloud, but I just choked up. It put me in a bad mood for the rest of the day ^.^;
One of my friends wants to do a Magypsy cosplay. He wants to go as Lydia (The bald one with the bunnies). Being a girl, I'm not gonna do that. I'm gonna cosplay as the Masked Man which by far makes more sense 8D

Just beat the game today. Intense tear fest. Perfect end to a masterpiece of a series. Of course, there's still a chance for a Mother 4. Not likely, but a chance.

The credits song, 16 Melodies, is by far the best song in the game's soundtrack, followed by Porky's Pokies and Master Porky's Theme.

At the screen that says "END?", you can walk around. NPCs will thank you and stuff, and eventually, you'll see the cast roll and credits. After the credits, you'll see a different MOTHER 3 banner.
