Pokemon Evil: More ideas, more determination, more evil than ever...:P

G'day all. I am Hoppyfred, you may or may not have heard of me, I'm not fussed either way, but that's not important. As Tyranitar2 has seemingly abandoned the Pokemon Evil Project, and I was his co-founder, I have rejuvinated the project and started afresh.

Hack Name: Pokemon - EVIL EDITION...


Introduction: This will be a hack of Pokemon Ruby. Basically, some Pokemon have started to develop mutant, evil genes. However, these Pokemon are not actually evil, but can be in the hands of wrong trainers. It is up to you, a ten year old hero(ine) to save the region!

Features:
> 'Evil' Pokemon replace Shiny Pokemon!
> New Gym Leaders and Elite Four (the team working on this hack in cameos)
> New maps
> New storyline
> Catch all Pokemon up to 3rd Gen, and possibly some D/P Pokes as well
> Elite Four have all EVIL Pokemon!

Note: The more effective / helpful members of the team will get the 3 remaining Elite 4 slots.

We need:
> Hex Editors (URGENT)
> Mappers (Less urgent)
> Scripters (fairly urgent)
> Spriters (Less urgent still)
> Beta testers (No proof of work needed)


We will accept NEARLY all applications, apart from spriting. Proof of work is required for all positions, especially Spriters...we may or may not forgive you for not having proof of work for Mappers, Scripters and Hex Editors.

Don't like something you've read? Got a few ideas that you think will make the hack better. (Theres probably theres alot out there). If your in the team and have found something you'd like to see changed get a fellow team member as a seconder and PM me or Hoppyfred. (I am afraid i cannot be a seconder as i will make the final decision).

I wrote up the story in this post bu while backspacing the computer went backwards erasing it so here is an abridged version:
.your region is fresh and unpolluted
.the team of........pollute it to get Giratina
.evil pokemon appear due to the influence of the pollution but aren't completely evil.
.you save the world before the pollution spreads and catch Giratina with the help of a Shaymin.
. After elite 4 side quests to get other legendaries including an event where the baddies make Darkrai evil and you have to persuade cressiala to join you by defeating it .GIVEPOKEMONSCRIPT. and stop darkrai.
.Connect region to Johto and others like this.

I think our game should have parts of hoenn, johto, Fiore and Naljo.

Nope, don't like any regions apart from the official ones. So we're only going to be including Kanto and Johto, possibly Sinnoh, if we even decide to add extra regions.

Okay...first things first, for some obscure reason, I can't see the marill...

Onto the list. I don't like Megaseer...Guillocrunch/crush/slash sound good, but not Pinsir-ish enough. I don't like Guilloking. Pinsnap is meh-ish and Pinsing is just...dunno. Meh.

Fakemons are good as long as they dont replace another pokemon..
(I think there was that 25 spaces thread)
Mixtures of generations..?
like Chikotira , Torchick and prinlup/Squirtle?
Okay Idea but isnt there status diffrences? critical diffrences (Like f/e prinlup is stronger then totodile?)
But its still awsome.
ill choose the last one.. Here is what I think : (Including triangle)
1)Polywag (polywhirl WILL lvl in a specific lvl)
2)Abra (Will need to edit Tm's becuase of Teleport till lvl 16)
3)A dark fire pokemon , like houndor , but I would get a 3 evolutions..
cause 2 sucks. any Ideas for a Dark pokemon that could beat ABRA
and also Fire to be beaten up by polywag?

(POLYWAG > HOUNDOR > ABRA > POLYWAG)
how's that ^_^?
ghastly is okay but.. its not effected by normal which is kinda bad because most of the
wild pokemons are normal at the begining..

Nice Idea...so how about editing BOTH Poliwag's and Abra's evolutionary methods (Can't trade/use water stone respectively) and either making an evolution between Houndour and Houndoom, or what I would prefer, making a Houndoom evo?

I agree, they ARE tedious to train BUT you could improve the exp. yield for all Pokemon...

Which consequently would make it easier to train ALL Pokemon...

Which could be good or bad...

Here I have a list of pokemon which could play a mojor part for obvious reasons:

Shaymin: Purifies pollution
Giratina: Gets angry and comes from the other world
Celebi: gaurdian of the forest
Raquaza: lives in the ozone layer and we all know about how pollution affacts that
Leafeon: They create clean air.
Groudon and Kyogre: start balming each other.
Darkrai and Cressilia: they can clam down the Evil pokemon or enrage them.
Arceus: Creator of the world and gets angry at everyone
Mew and Mewtwo: Two pokemon which get involved çuase they both just dislike the pollution.

Other ideas:

Side hacks: Little mini hacks with exclusive pokemon which you can only get by trading with it. A.K.A:

Pokemon Missingo.

The PCs all over the world are crashing and with the help of a Porygon you have to beat the glitch missingos in the PCs....

Advantages about these minigames is that you can add pokemon to slots that are used as I different slot in Pokemon Evil but aren't catchable.

Aargh its hard to explain. Like we put pokemon on Evil edition But they cant be caught ingame. (A.K.A. you can't catch trapinch in Fire-red etc.) Then we make a seperate hack which revolves around that pokemon but is very short. We can give trainers etc. pokemon which don't exist in Evil edition on the mini-hacks but make them non-catchable so it doesn't screw-up Evil edition. And once you complete the very-short mini-hack you can trade with Evil edition! If you don't understand PM me.
