[Scripting Question] [16.2 EBS] Mega evolution in double battles (more than 1 each side)

So;
might just be an ebs or probably an essentials thing too,

but mega evolutions only allows one mega each side but; if the player or opposing side is made of 2 trainers; its still one.

Like if you went against 2 trainers one having Altarianite and the other Gardevoirite, and one mega'd the other cant.

Is there any way to change this? just curious if not (atleast without removing the restriction entirely) thats okay

No it's not possible because only one Pokémon can Mega Evolve per battle according to the real games.

i very much realise its not more than one in the real games, but ive seen a way to make it infinite uses but thats not what i was needing, unless thats the only method.

I think you just need to find the code that checks if you're allowed to Mega Evolve and change it so that it checks based on the party this Pokémon is from rather than the "side" of the field. Presumably this would also allow your partner to Mega Evolve—unless that already works, in which case it should be even easier to fix, because you can just copy how that works for the NPC trainers.
