    ok hi people
    last night I just got Pokemon Leaf Green and my brother got Fire Red.

    they're pretty awsome I'm already in cerulean city

    here's my team

    Pikachu Lv.22
    Wartortle Lv.24
    Spearow Lv.13
    Mankey Lv.14

    this is SOOO very cool I missed these pokemon soo much


    one question though, uh...how come when I started the game it didn't ask me
    to set the time?

    I thought I'd missed it but I checked all over the house there's no clock
    what's up with that?
     
    There never was a clock in the original games (Blue/Red/Yellow/Green), so there isn't a clock in FR/LG.

    Also, it avoids a problem like the Berry Glitch.

    Really, without it ya cant have Esp/Umbreon...
     
    Of course, there is a theory that if you trade an Eevee to Ruby/Sapphire and level it up, it will become an Espeon or Umbreon. I'm willing to try it (as soon as I get to the Daycare Centre on Island 4, I'm grabbing my Ditto, breeding Eevee 4 more times, and trading 2 to my Sapphire cart to test).
     
    I saw a thing at Wal-Mart that said "Pok?mon FireRed/LeafGreen: Coming September 10", so they won't be in stores here in MN until Friday. I probably won't be able to get them until Christmas though. :(
     
    Yea, I dont think wal mart get new games until a couple of days after the actual release date...so im either going to a gamestop t/m (like 45min away) are just waiting until fri are
    sat to get FIRE RED!!

    Eevee will evolve by love at day/night on RS, yes.
    And ew. A help system!? Oak guiding you through the first battle!? Bleh.

    i think she means that how chansey evolves they have to trust you.

    i always wanted an steelix so im still training it after i compelete elite 4 i should have over 60 pokemon then i would trade it with the metal coat equiped and it'll evolve
     
    Well I accently save over mine so I'm gonna wait till tommorrow for english.

    Toothache, I have the Official Player's Guide for FireRed and LeafGreen and under how to obtain Espeon and Umbreon it says trade from Colesseum or trade it to Ruby or Sapphire and evolve it in the Day for Espeon and at Night form Umbreon. This is possible because of the in-game clock in your room.
     
    i got them too..really cool i like fire red

    You'd think they'd at least have it randomised so it could evolve in FireRed and LeafGreen independantly of any time variable. They either should have done that, or included a clock.
     
    I just got back from walmart..I got fire red...I would like my team to be:
    charizard
    metagross (traded from sapphire)
    salamence (trabed from sapphire)
    tyranitar
    not sure
    not sure
    (I might get bulbasaur and blastoise for these two)
     
    They didnt include a clock, because they wanted it to be as much like the original games as possible. Thats why there are many things that havent changed from the originals.
