No. Ruby/Sapphire was not only disappointingly unpopular, but it's also still part of the 3rd/4th gen loop... which makes it pretty pointless to make a remake. Especially since the graphics are already pretty decent on the originals.
 
I don't think people are seeing the point of these remakes...

I 100% agree. :D I mean, we just got G/S remakes, and now we're discussing about R/S remakes. :\

Anyway, to answer the question, not only did R/S have pretty decent graphics to begin with (well, it was a massive improvemt over G/S), there wouldn't really be any point. :\ FR/LG was made to get Kanto Pokemon, and HG/SS is being made just out of popular demand. Not only do we have access to most of the Sinnoh Pokemon already, it wasn't really popular, compared to the others, to be honest. :\
 
To be honest, i don't really care lol If they do remake Ruby and Sapphire, then that's ok. I'll probably even be excited if they do. They always improve things in each new game they make, so it could only be better, right?
 
Its much too early to remake them.
Personally I don't crave a remake for them like I did for
Kanto and Johto, but if they ever do end up remaking them
I'll buy it.
 
nope. theyre still rather useful for Pal Park, but thats about the only reason their ok
 
No they didn't turn out to well & the pokemon in that generation aren't stunning so I don't think it'd be worth it.
 
I'd LOVE those remakes.

Sapphire was my life omg. :D I honestly think the people would change their opinion of it with new sprites and graphics. Though I liked 'em anyway.
 
Surprisingly, even though R/S came out after G/S, I really liked G/S's graphical colour scheme waayyyyy better than R/S. 3rd generation I thought was the worst in the series.

Well FRLG was 2 gens after they're originals, same with HGSS, so I'm guessing we'll be waiting for Gen V ;)

I highly doubt it. Not for the time being, it has average graphics and good game-play. It also wasn't the most popular Pokemon generation, and is still rather new.

So, not for a long time.
 
I'd love if they were made, but it's pretty early, still.

Uh, people were talking about GS remakes pretty damn soon after the announcement of FRLG.

In the same way that I could've lived without a GS remake, I don't care all too much for any RS remake. Though, now I think about it, I might want to see it made for the horror most people wil harbour towards it - the opposite of my feelings towards HGSS (i.e. didn't want it made to see the angst people would've come up with).
 
Although it was the least liked by far, RSE will always have a place in my heart, as it was my first game. (Lulz, I'm always complaining about nostalgafags, but here I am doing the same thing as them) That being said, it's still too early for a remake. Maybe in a few years or something?
