Issue: Kontera infos at PC?

Sorry if this doesn't belong here, mods. Not sure where to ask but here at the moment. ^^;

Anyways, this is the first time I'm seeing those Kontera infos here today: https://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b62/Vicky2006/Kontera.png . Am I the only one seeing this? If no, is there something wrong with PC that causes the Kontera infos to come?

I'd like to know as well. They're lagging my browser whenever I accidentally scroll over one. :\ It's incredibly annoying.

I have not seen it but I STRONGLY suggest alternative ad systems.

It really is browser intensive and we have a strong community of members who have obviously donated (tons of blue names!) and this is kind of like a slap in the face. If I were not jobless I'd have already made a small donation :|

As a webmaster I more than understand the high costs involved but forcing users to endure things like pop ups on keywords is like water boarding the very people who give you traffic. Dx

Does ABP cover popup keywords like Kontera though? I've never been clear on that.

EDIT: It is confirmed that Ad-Block Plus does in fact get rid of them.

This never happened before with ads; hopefully this doesn't evolve into talking ones @__@

Well as I said, AdBlock Plus with only EasyList (USA) enabled gets rid of them.
Get Firefox
Now get AdBlock Plus!

That's all well and good, and I'll probably go ahead and use those, but the fact of the matter is most of us really just don't like the idea of those particular types of ads on the community. As Chibi said, the next thing we're gonna see are those irritating voice-clip advertisements. ._.

I'm annoyed as is. Was it some admins choice? I hope not. Seriously.
If it goes blue and clickable for someones choice of words, slang words for example, I'll be somewhere waiting for the tears.

I thought maybe something was wrong with my browser or something.

& To the people that suggest getting Firefox, and the Ad Blocker.. some of us don't have that option. I have to stick with Google Chrome, and I don't have a say in the matter. xD I guess I'm just fairly glad that we don't have audio ads, at least.
