1st Edition Base Booster boxes

    What's the deal with these? I've been looking for one of them for months now, and they just never seem to appear. Are any still in circulation? I know there's at least some out there, last one ended on eBay on 13th Feb.

    I've got about $800 set aside for something like this if anyone can point me in the right direction :)

    Yeah, there are a few on eBay. They are less than the new ones. Have no idea why, because I prefer older cards.
     
    Yeah, ebay or like craigs list or something would probably be the best bet.
    As for how much, who knows, maybe you'll get lucky and find someone who has no idea what that is worth! xD

    I'm talking about the 1st Edition stamped version. There are none on eBay for months at a time. As I said, the last time I saw one go on Ebay was on Feb 13th, and I missed that. Nothing for months beforehand, and nothing since.

    That's why I thought I'd come here.
     
    You have to consider that 1st edition Base set boxes are extremely rare (wouldn't surprise me if there were fewer than 100 of them left in the world). On top of that, most people who have them don't really want to get rid of them unless they can make some REALLY good money on them (I'm talking over $1000 here).
     
    I think $1000 is a slight exaggeration, but I am well aware of how few of them are still around. Sometimes they go on Ebay for under $250 when they're not well enough advertised.
     
    Go on Amazon. =D They sell booster sets like 35 packs for $80-$100
     
    yeah amazon is a bit better considering many retards like playing around with others on ebay.
