2005 Anime

Did the last season of Inuyasha come out in America ??
 
I think I'll be watching Xenosaga, Ah! My Goddess, and the new Inuyasha anime if I can get a hold of them. Hope they're good.
 
So it's 2005 and it's about time we speak of some new anime or manga. I mean, like some intro or some sort of a recommendation or something for them they are released here (or you guys can just get the fansubs or something. lol)

Let us begin (I guess starting with popular ones)!

Gundam Seed Destiny (arc 2)
Yes, the sequel is entering its second arc (I'm sure it's about time for a recap ep soon. :-/). The series had an explosive start, and I'm looking forward to seeing how things would turn out.

Mai Hime (My Hime, arc 2)
After the first arc in fall, it launhes straight into the second arc! W00t! We'll see if the quality keeps up here. It feels a bit mecha-ish, but it's got a pretty good fanbase.

Samurai Champloo (arc 2)
Champloo debuted summer of last year and had a distinctive "cool" flavour. Looking forward to seeing more here, esp. since it's about Fuu and all. :P

School Rumble
Excellent comedy series. Continuing from fall. Oh man, I think I forgot my legs one time because it was so funny. :P

Girls Bravo season 2
No comment. It's more ecchi humour anyway. If you're still interested, it's about thie guy who has "girl-phobia" (don't ask me why they say that. lol) and he just happens to be surrounded by girls. :P

Gakuen Alice:
I'm not even sure if it's gonna continue from what I know. but it's still releasing during this time, so here it is. Some say it's like Kiddy Grade. I wouldn't know, but I do know it's hilarious. t's about this girl who goes into Alice Academy (Gakuen = Academy, apparently) to find her friend. Little did she know that she is also a suspect for an Alice.

Jinki:Extend:
I don't know much about this one as I've see 1 ep so far. it's looking alright for a mecha series, and the lack of fan service is a nice change. Don't knkow much about its plot.

Starship Operators:
This is about a bunch of cadets that wish to defeat this place called "Kingdom" (essentially an empire) to reclaim their world. It's dialogue intensive so far in the first 2 eps.

Ultimate Girl:
2 words: Hentai ultraman.

Ichigo Mashinmaro:
The manga's very cute and it contains relatively little servicing. It's about the life of several girls.

Ichigo 100%:
Ecchi humour with a guy who has a whole bunch of girls all liking him. I'mnot sure if it'll even AIR in 2005, but I'm sure it will soon enough due to its popularity.

Funny you should say that about Seed Destiny, this week is going to be a recap episodes ^^; Aside from that Bleach,Beck and Icigo 100% I haven't been watching much. I am waiting for Tsubasa to get on...but that ain't till March.

I stopped YGO GX cause it got really boring ^^

What? Hentai ultraman, but no Hentai Sentai ?XD
 
Yeah, I already know that it's a recap episode, but still it's to initiate the next arc anyway. :P

Tsubasa woud be intersting indeed. I've always liked CLAMP (except for something like the anime chobits for some reason).

Close enough on the Hentai ultraman thing. I mean, clearly that UFO guy looks like a perverted version of Ultraman (or the SaltyDuckEggMan. Ah...gotta love Chinese names!)....O_O

If you haven't seen any of the Guu series, you might want to go pick it up. It is <33333. ^_~ Not sure if it's been dubbed though...

Anyway, I'm actually still looking for MS Negima. we'll see about that one. XD

btw, anyone know what's going on with the G. Angel sub group? Cuz releases have stopped since GA 7-8 of season 4.

Yeah. I recall seeing someof them as new ones and some of the as old ones. Problem is that I don't remember them off the top of my head. I'll check it out for you later (or someone else will).

Anyway, saw the first Girls Bravo season 2 ep (mind you it's raw, untranslated) and my thoughts are...OMG it rivals that of UG....maybe even worst (which makes no sense, as season 1 was completely different in terms of the ecchi content). O_O First 10 seconds you're seeing breasts. NOT a good sign. :-/ Ah well, it's now in the race for the extreme ecchi content of the year. :P

Oh Mahoraba ~Heartful days~. Saw the first 2, and it doesn't seem to be that bad. Definitely a good deviation from the ecchi content I was viewing, thinking it wasn't like that before (GB season 2...disappointment :P)
 
I didn't even know it was a sequel myself. lol

Anyway, will update on the status of Xenosaga and Viewtiful Joe. But one thing's for sure, most of the anime that's bsaed on games are either REALLY good or REALLY bad. Example: Ragnarok had a REALLY bad anime O_O

Nurse Witch looks like it's a sequel or something. It's so stupid tho. lol

Jinki:Extend is definitely a sequel, and it's looking alright.

Kannazuki/Kannaduki no Miko: That was an okay series from last year (end of last year). Meh, it's just 12 eps anyway.

I know Final Approach is fairly recent. Gakuen alice is from last year, but is still currently running. The subbing is slow, as I said.

Keroro is hilarious, and I can't find it anywhere. XD

Love love and Lyrical Girl are last year's.

Mahou Sensei Negima...I havea feeling it's Love Hina all over again. Currently I've seen up to ep 3.

Cutie Honey was arguably one of the ecchi picks from last year, I heard. NEver seen it.

Moon Phase I think "ended" last week or some time early January.

Uta Kata was from last year, it wasa horrible anime IMO. Wayyyyyyy too many fan servicing. They say it's the ecchi version of Kiddy Grade.

W-Wish I know is from last year. No idea about it except StaticSub is subbing it.

Yakitate!! Japan is new (manga's gone to like 100+ chapters now, so no worries on fillers for a while). It's about bread-making. lol

And from that list that should be all I know. lol
