    Pokemon... many lives used to revolve around these beautiful creatures. But like most things, interests begin to fade, and pokemon became a thing of the past. Trainers, Co-ordinators, Breeders, even professors have died out. Most people now work in cubicles, typing useless papers about money, and some people work at stores, selling useless stuff that will end up not becoming a trend. It doesn't really matter where the people work, it just shows that a lot of people don't care about Pokemon anymore.​

    Story-
    Professor Cherry, a young rebel woman, has built her own Lab in the Kanto Region, the only region that still shows little signs of interest in Pokemon. She is looking for young kids interested in trying to rebuild the "trainer population".​

    There has been reports of 8 veteran pokemon masters hidden around the Kanto area. Each one holds a badge that will be given to the trainers that beat them. When the trainers receive 8 badges they will be able to enter a secret battle tournament.​

    Your Mission-
    Your mission is two capture all 8 badges and win the Tournament.
    Of course, it isn't going to be an easy task. There will be harsh weather, rude people, and intense battles. But in the end it will all be worth it.
    Along the way you will try and advertise trainers, hopping to get more people interested in pokemon again. The more you advertise the more popular you get, which means more people will be rooting for you in the tournament!​

    Bad Guys-​

    Anti Trainers:
    The Anti Trainers are a group of people totally against the act of training and battling pokemon. Anti-trainers will steal your pokemon(and set them free.. or so they say) and anything related to them, SO WATCH OUT! Their hobbies include; Making large signs about trainers and standing outside of random houses chanting about how bad trainers are.​

    Team Solar-
    Team Solar is a small organization of men and women who are interested in making a trainer's life living hell. They, also like the Anti Trainers, like to steal pokemon. But instead of setting them free, they attach a small device to the body of the pokemon causing them to become unbelievably powerful and mean.​

    This role play will be in Chapter Form, meaning I will post a chapter at the beginning of the week and you will make a post according to that chapter... kinda like a story. Each person will have to write nice post (more then 3 paragraphs most of the time). Your reward for writing nice post will be your pokemon gaining experience. Sometimes though, you might get an even bigger award(but that's a surprise!!)

    There will not be any interaction with other role players unless I say so. But don't worry, there will be some interaction at least twice in this role play!

    Appearance
    Jack is medium height around 5' 6" and weighs about 138 pounds. Because Jack is so lazy he is not very muscular and is usually called skinny some even call him scrawny. Jack has short black wavy hair which appears to have a wet look but is usually covered by a black fedora with a white stripe around it. He also has a bit of facial hair a little mustache that he's proud of and that he combs in secret. Jack has a very light brown skin color and he has surprisingly smooth skin maybe due to lack of activity. Jack dresses very simple. He usually wears a plain white t-shirt with no design of any sort on it covered by a blue sleeveless hoodie and he wears neatly fitted black skinny jeans and a simple black and white low tops with blue laces. In warmer temperature Russell would remove his hoodie and just wear the white shirt only or to keep that from getting dirty a blue t-shirt. In colder temperature he wears a blue snow jacket. No one has ever saw Russell without his necklace with a blue topaz pendant given to him by his father.


    Personality
    Jack is what you call care free and easy going. Its his attitude that leads people to believe that he's lazy something Jack would deny as being untrue. In Jack's own words he just hasn't found anything that he is passionate about especially since pokemon were not widely accepted anymore and when he does he will be a dedicated person. That was one of the reasons Jack wanted to become a trainer to try and become less of a lazy slacker and more of a passionate person. Jack usually gets upset when he hears some of the older people bad mouthing pokemon and laughing about their importance. Jack has also handles pressure well since he is not easily flustered and believes that if he was in a pokemon battle he would be great and cool headed.



    History
    Jack was born in Opelucid City of Unova, the final stop for powerful trainers before Victory Road, Jack has grown up witnessing countless powerful Pokemon trainers, both home-grown Dragon-type masters and aspiring league champions, finish their quest for badges. Jack's father was also a trainer when Jack was young but like everyone else stopped really caring about pokemon before moving to Kanto for job opportunities. Although Jack was too young back then to get a pokemon he still dreamed of being a pokemon trainer despite what anyone thought.

    Jack's father watched Jack grow up and was sad when he discovered that his son always dreamed of having a pokemon of his own. Jack continued his regular boring life with his love of pokemon hidden until one day his father returned from a business trip with great news of a professor wanting potential trainers, and her name was Professor Cherry. Jack's mother and father were the ones pushing Jack towards his dreams of being a trainer knowing that pokemon used to be an important part of there lives when they were his age. With a hug and a kiss and there best wishes they sent him off to Professor Cherry.

    Name- Jenna Marie Stone

    Age- 14

    Gender- Girl

    Appearance- Jenna is a very small child for her age. Her height is 5'3 and she only weighs about 83 pounds. However, she is very tough and has many muscles hidden under her thin arms. Her eyes are blue, and her hair color is a dirty blonde, cut to shoulder length. Jenna's skin color is also very light, surprisingly more pale than most peoples. However, she has rosey-red cheeks and freckles which help bring color to her face. She also has many scars on her hands and arms, but many of them are too tiny or light to see.

    Her clothing consists mainly of t-shirts,sweatshirts, and jeans. Otherwise, she has a black fur coat she wears during the winter seasons. She always wears sneakers on her feet, and isn't much of a fan of make-up nor nail polish. Instead, Jenna loves jewelry and owns many kinds of necklaces, bracelets, and rings. One accessory she always wears is a chunky chain necklace, said to be made out of pure silver. If she isn't wearing that, she wears a necklace w/ a pokeball attached to the end of it. The last thing she has is a music player that she listens to quite often.

    Personality    - Jenna is a very nice girl to nearly everyone. However, she is a bit shy and normally doesn't like talking to people. In positive views, she is a very good learner, and already knows a lot about most people before actually talking to them. She's also very carefree as long as she's not stressed. If otherwise, she becomes the opposite. Jenna is very lazy and stubborn, but will work hard at something if she feels like it. If faced with an issue, she'll try to avoid it, but isn't afraid to speak her mind.

    In battle she is very competitive, often taunting her opponents if she strikes a weak point. Battling is her passion and she adores pokemon with all her heart, and doesn't care that most people are sick of them. She will always go the extra mile to make her partners happy, or anyone else she cares deeply about. However, it might take a bit of persuasion first. Even if she seems like a brat sometimes, Jenna is a very fun person to be around if you earn her friendship. And even if you don't earn it, she'll be nice to you when it comes to battling. Then again...maybe not.

    History    - Jenna was born in Black City, located in the Unova Region. Growing up she would pick up abandoned pokemon off the streets and had made friends with many of them. Certain times the pokemon would run away, and later on sneak food out of the house to feed them. In school she would always be too lazy to finish her homework, although when she did she got As. Jenna's parents would often yell at her for being so stubborn. Alice understood why, but she just wanted to play with her pokemon friends.

    Eventually her parents banned her from playing with the creatures. After this, Jenna began to retaliate and do nothing out of the house. She found no reaction from her parents, and therefore began sneaking out of the house to give food to the many Pokemon she had grew up with. One day, however, she stumbled against a new pokemon she hadn't seen before, hiding in the streets. As she approached it, the pokemon revealed itself to be a Growlithe.

    Scared, it attacked the little girl with Ember, damaging her arm very badly as the flames burned off her skin. Jenna was use to being attacked by pokemon, but no attack had ever been as powerful as the Growlithe's move. She tried holding in her pain, but her parents saw her on the streets and immediately picked her up. As it happened, another individual saw the scene and came to check if Alice was injured.

    The woman revealed herself as Professor Cherry. Jenna's parents were desperate to rush their daughter into the house, but Alice felt bad for the Growlithe and insisted that everything was fine. The young girl's reaction to the attack astounded her, and she began discussing with the parents about a possible future for the child. Jenna's parents were reluctant, but they understood their daughter had a passion for the creatures.

    Jenna eventually traveled the world with the guide of Professor Cherry, and was taken to the scientist's lab, promised a Pokemon Partner.

    Name- Ristel Dorff
    Age- 13

    Gender- Missing.no! No, I kid. Boy

    Appearance- Ristel is a boy of average height for a 13 year old, maybe a bit thin. His hair is a bright sandy yellowish brown tone and rather bushy. He refuses to get it cut into the short style his mother would like him to have. He usually wears bright t-shirts, often white, and his durable red hood jacket as well as jeans and white sneakers. Those sneakers will probably not be as white after this journey... Sometimes (like when he's going on this journey) he puts on a blue scarf. It makes him look more elegant and it's his lucky scarf that he got from his dad long time ago.

    His face is pretty light. He hasn't really hit puberty yet and has a brighter voice than many of his friends. His face has some freckles, especially around his nose. His normal facial expression looks kind of worried, even when he isn't really worried. It somehow tends to make people think he's a quite fragile person.

    Personality- Ristel isn't as fragile as he looks. He is quite the calculating person when he finds himself in the thick of battle. It is as if pressing situations make him see things more clearly. When he's in a normal, calm situation, he can be quite naive and almost dumb at times. That changes in tight spots. That's why he believes pokémon training is something he can be good at. Little does he think about all the other things that pokémon training means, outside of battling.

    He's a kind boy usually, having been pampered by his mother ever since his father disappeared. He's taught to be eager to help people, and sometimes fails to see the whole context of things in his hurry to be nice. When meeting new people, he's rather polite and acts happily. When he sees people getting hurt, he usually gets afraid, same if somebody tries to hurt him. If things really get dangerous though, his battle sense can kick in and he spots ways to get out of the trouble. He doesn't usually get angry. He's got a sense of humor and is generally well liked at school, even though he's sometimes been picked on when younger, for being small. Now he has finally started to grow and hopes to catch up in length and all with the other boys.

    His main hobby has up to now been to sketch and paint, something Fenker could never understand but Astel loved. He carries with him his pencils and new sketchbook on the journey and will try to sketch or paint every pokémon he sees. At least one of every species. He also likes music and tends to whistle or sing as soon as things get too quiet. When he takes a break from traveling, he might play on the harmonica he bought several years ago for his own saved up money.

    History- The Dorffs found each other at a water festival in Cerulean City. Ristel's father had the Dorff name and was secretly fascinated by pokémon, while his mother (Astel) didn't like them at all. Soon after Ristel's birth it became clear that Ristel's father (Fenker) wanted nothing more than to train pokémon. So he started trying to do that. Astel didn't approve but loved him and Ristel so she held on. Unfortunately, Fenker was lost in a big storm when Ristel was only 8, or so they said. The remaining Dorffs moved to Pallet Town to start over fresh. Astel is actually a passive Anti-trainer supporter who thinks professor Cherry hasn't got all her Ponyta's in the stable. Ristel, however, still admires his father and shares the fascination for the dangerous and smart creatures.

    Soon after he turned 13, he heard about what the town's professor was doing and that she wanted children to help her out. He wanted nothing more than to be part of it, but his mother didn't want it at all. So he plans to run away and leave a note on the kitchen table for Astel to find when she wakes up the next morning, even if it would break her heart slightly. He's only awaiting the right day...

    Name: Reggie Antimer Riaxus
    Age: 11
    Gender: Boy

    Appearance: Reggie measures in at about five feet and a few inches, with spiky blonde hair adding another few inches. His hair is a vast blonde color. It stands on end at the front of his head, and is spiked toward the front as it goes farther down his head, except for the unrelenting cowlick on the back of his head . His face is somewhat round with large, bright blue eyes placed right in the center. He has large, round cheekbones that give his face an odd shadow when light hits it exactly. He has a small, round nose that ends abruptly with his large mouth. His chin rounds off to an average neck and a relatively broad set of shoulders. His neck seems like it's just... simply placed there. His arms are thin due to his young age and lack of maturity in his body. His knuckles on his hands are often surrounded in a bandage from wounds he sustained long ago. He has a stout torso, which looks awkward with his long, clumsy appendages. In fact, his body is, overall, lanky and clumsy-looking. When he walks, his body seems to sway (but it's generally unknown if its his positive attitude or lack of control in his body).

    Reggie wears a white, button-up, collar shirt over a black t-shirt with the sleeves rolled up. The collar is usually propped up, revealing a black tie that runs loosely around his neck. The tie hangs limply from its perch, dangling at a slightly crooked angle that would drive a perfectionist insane. The first few buttons of his shirt are unbuttoned, leaving the shirt open to the black undershirt roughly to the bottom of his chest. The collar shirt is untucked, hiding the brown belt that he wears to hold up the baggy beige pants he wears. His pants are slightly wrinkled, with a long tear on the left knee that reaches a few inches up. The pants are perhaps a size too large on him, forcing the need for the belt. However, the belt is visible when there are Pokeballs attached to it, as they push the bottom of the shirt away. His shoes are somewhat engulfed in the ends of his pants, as they (as stated before) are slightly large on him. The shoes are a dark brown color with brighter brown in some parts, like the tongue of the shoe and the sole. Oftentimes, one of his shoes are untied, which usually gets him into predicaments.

    Personality: Reggie is a very independent person with an odd personality. He is very hyper and talkative. What may start as a single statement for Reggie may end in a superfluous rant of endless bicker. Adding to that, he's quite complacent, which does not stack well with his annoyance. He will go out of his way to win an argument and get his way, but often gets ignored in the end. He's quite determined, be it arguing or simply completing a task. He'll take any chance of proving someone wrong, even if it takes multiple tries. Sometimes, though, his headstrong attributes are his greatest downfall. He can wear his energy right out if he tries and fails at something strenuous multiple times. Reggie is easily flustered, to say the least. If things don't go as planned, he begins to worry for the worst. His own anxiety causes him to go dizzy (figuratively speaking, of course). With that being said, he works terribly under pressure.

    History: Reggie lived in Goldenrod City, Johto for most of his life. His family wasn't exactly the richest family, to say the least. They lived in an old, run-down apartment that was infested with Rattata and Spinarak. His parents were rather ignorant to his needs, often tossing him a toy when he was upset just to shut him up. That may or may not be the reason he acts so uptightly. When it comes to school life, he wasn't really picked on, but rather ignored. He chased a girl, named Aylla, during his time in Goldenrod City. But, she ended up calling the police on him after he tried confessing his feelings for her. This happening allowed Reggie to see that his life was spiraling downhill at a rapid pace, with nothing to show for it.

    After a long and harrowing trek through Johto in the winter months, he found himself in Pallet Town, Kanto. For a few months, he lived in the alleyways, scrounging for food. Ironically, he lived among the Rattata that he had fled from. Eventually came the day that he stumbled across Professor Cherry's lab, who seemed delighted to find a young kid interested in Pokemon. She gladly washed him up and supplied him with a starter Pokemon. Since then, Reggie has viewed Professor Cherry as a parent.

    Name: Serenity Caldwell

    Age: 16

    Gender: Female

    Appearance: Serenity is not that short; she's not that tall eaither; she is, what she calls: "the perfect height for an individual suck as myself". Her hair is a light brown color that has long locks coming out from it, which is long enough to reach her mid-chest. Her long hair is supported by a crimson-red scrunchie that isn't too big, but not to small. Alice also has light, brown eyes with a white skin tone color. She has a birthmark on her right hand that also symbolizes her relations to the Caldwell family. She has pearly-white teeth, and has a bright-pink color skin-tone whenever she blushes.

    She wears a light pink and mauve dress that is laces with white lining, and yellow ribbons. She wears a pearl necklace that her mother gave to her when she was really young, in which Serenity would always wear it on her left hand. Serenity also wears long white dress socks, which are completed by black dress shoes, for she has a detest on wearing high heels, or running shoes. Her black dress shoes are laced together by white lining, and can be buckled by a single strap with a gold brace on each foot.

    Personality: Serenity is a bright, kind, and cheerful girl that commonly acts before thinking and blurts out whatever she thinks is necessary to say. Some people believe that she has a distasteful attitude, while some others find her elegant, but that's only because she tries to teach people what's right and what's wrong, which gives different people different opinions about her. She doesn't tolerate 'stupidity' very well, and will thoroughly beat anyone who denies her ways. Some call her bipolar, but in all honesty, she's a kind and caring girl, even though she has a seemingly-low anger point towards many people.

    History: Serenity was brought up into a wealthy and kind family that lived in the small, peaceful town of Olivine. Her house was stationed right on the coast, risen up from the sandy beach by a large deck. Her house was literally, right on the shore of Olivine, only a few meters from the Olivine Lighthouse. As a young girl, Serenity would play on the beach with her family, as they were very tight knit and friendly towards each other. Her father was the captain of a famous ship known as the S.S. Anne. The ship had sailed back and forth between Olivine and Vermillion, carrying hundreds of trainers and tourists to their requested destinations. Her mother was a stay-at-home mom that cared about her children deeply. Not only did Alice have caring and successful parents, she also had four caring and kind younger siblings, two sisters and two brothers, at the age of 11, 8, and two 6 year old twins. The two females were the older ones, and the boys were the younger twins. This healthy relationship only helped Alice live as she wanted. Her family pampered her with whatever she wanted, yet she would never let this advantage get to her head. Her parents had praised her for keeping her integrity towards what she received.

    One day, Serenity's father had left on a cruise to Vermillion, scheduled to return in sixteen days. Unexpectedly, fourteen days later, Serenity's mother received a call from her father. He had stated that he needed to take his ship over to Slateport City in Hoenn, he was now supposed to return to Olivine within a span of thirty-two months. At this time, Alice was 11 years old, too young to see her father leave for such a long span of time. She had bawled and cried for hours, for shortly after the phone call her mother had with her father, her family as a whole completely lost all connection with Mr. Caldwell, unable to contact him whatsoever.

    On Serenity's fifteenth birthday, she saw a large ship's silhouette in the bright, orange sunset reflecting off of the glistening, blue water of the ocean. She saw a man's figure standing on the deck of the ship, waving at her. She waved back, it was her father. Mr. Caldwell had returned with a plethora of treasures, much to Serenity's surprise. When she had asked her father what he did to get all of the gold, gems, and other trinkets of the sort, he replied saying that he had no recollection of how, why, or when he received the treasure. To this day, Serenity has pondered why he cannot remember, yet she has come up with nothing.

    When Serenity became 16, she and her parents moved to Pallet Town, and lived a quite wealthy economy there. Moreover, Serenity has soon found out about the Towns Professor, professor Cherry, and how she is looking for young kids interested in trying to rebuild the "trainer population". While Serenity was starting to get interested on walking her own path, she wanted to also learn more about pokemon, and traveling. So, with the finances helped by her parents, she decided to meet this Professor, and start her new adventure.
