<3 Himiwarii Fan Club <3

Never had that problem before, not that they're not important but I usually pick my RL friends over internet friends. It's always like:

*me on interweb* *friend comes over*

Friend: Let's go do this!

Me: Okay!

Me(to internet buddies): Gotta go, bye!

Yeah, and I think that's the way it's supposed to be. Somehow, I don't think I'm as close to my RL friends as I am to my internet ones. I find I have more in common with people here.

I see you never annoy your RL friends by sticking with your online friends. Good idea, I suppose, as they are less likely to waste your time. I can't do that though. Can't help it if I can't spend time with RL friends when it's online friends that are on my mind.

Since you're on, can you tell me when your welcome party for Kanna-chan last year was? Like, what do you mean her club died?

I guess it's good thing but I just go by what I feel like doing. Sometimes I might just want to be on the internet and sometimes I want to go out.

It was a disaster, her club didn't die but it's activity went way down and even though there has been surges of activity it's never really been the same. Yeah well the party was mostly making banners and other gifts like that for her, I don't really remember but it was a bust.

lol Going out definately requires more energy from you though. :P

And like I said, when did that bust occur exactly? :\

On the topic of parties, I read an puzzling thread a while back that claimed PC was going to hold some sort of party. My question is, how exactly are parties undertaken on a forum?

I see, yeah, this club became slower then the DCC before the start of this year.

I see there was a slight boom near the end of January though, but yeah. more active then it is here now at aleast, or summer. :P

By role playing and a celebrating thread basically. People just role play out a party in a thread or two.

I see. You've ever taken part in one?

I created the first two PC Get-Togethers, so yes. :P

Maybe I'd do it once just to get a feel for what it's like.

There wasn't really a Christmas Celebration, so I'm not sure when the next one will be.

Anybody interested in throwing Kanna-chan a welcome back party!?!? LMAO. Though I doubt anybody cares.

Yeah, I think I'd agree with the latter.

I wouldn't mind a welcome back party if it actually worked out.
I have this idea: We make a setting, then role play, and when Jessica gets here, we'll ask her and talk about her trip.

We can also make banners in our signatures, personal text, locations, avatars, etc, to make the celebration look real. :P

But meh, it may or may not be worthwhile depending on how many people are dying to see her this time around. :P

It's simple, but I don't find it that great a thing to do, if you know what I mean.

First, we need to see how many want to do this. How do we find that out? Meh, I'll just tell everybody who comes by I guess. Then we'll need a lot of banners with Kanna-chan's favourite animes or whatever you want saying welcome back to Kanna-chan. We'll do that in January when we have a better idea as to how many people will show up.

Edit: I'll put more brevity in my posts from now on. :P

...Not.

This was when Jessica left last year: https://www.pkmncommunity.com/showpost.php?p=1761560&postcount=6355

1672 posts occured.

This was when Jessica's first post after coming back: https://www.pkmncommunity.com/showpost.php?p=1836450&postcount=8018

lmao @ this post: https://www.pkmncommunity.com/showpost.php?p=1844523&postcount=8357

This was when she left this year: https://www.pkmncommunity.com/showpost.php?p=2323115&postcount=22175

Though this was her actual goodbye that she didn't get to post, due to the crazy-bad-timing of PC database error: https://www.pkmncommunity.com/showpost.php?p=2323508&postcount=22176

I wonder if I can beat the 1672 posts from last year's Jessica abscence.

Probably not, even though we've added 252 posts already in 3 days. Keep going at this pace, and we'll have 2400+ posts. :P

I doubt I can go at the current pace, though. Unless I spend my weekends trying to get this club +500 every weekend, and +10 at least every week day. :P

Eh... I'm not all too sure how to make it exciting.

One idea for the banner would be: Someone can write a sweet welcome back note to Kanna-chan, and it will have the usernames of everybody who wants to sign the note on it.

And yeah, I was bored. But this thread had interesting conversations. Not surprising considering the huge variety of people it earned respect from. <3 the fact that John Denver or Dakota made 102 posts here... hah, if only he wasn't banned.
