Is it as good? Yeah, I think so but you must be careful and read all the descriptions carefully because some people like to trick others into buying boxes of expensive products and other things like that.

I love Chinese food! We have a restaurant in my town that is awesome and in Fresno there is a whole bunch of them and they all have delicious food.
Hah! That's cool.

But these instant noodles are actually pretty fattening. 500 caleries per 100 grams. Eek.

Chinese food isn't the healthiest, but I agree it kicks ass.

You're not Asian are you?

Really, name me a foood that taste really good and is nutrious o_o I honestly cannot find any. The closest you can get are just the natural fruits, or salad, but I doubt that anyone can say those are "best of the best" ranking for food.

Chinese restaurant can be rather evil that they try to rip you off a lot... Once I went to dim sum with friends and of course we all speak english among each other. Then the waiter tries to slip us up with a bad attitude as well, but then we quickly retaliated in Chinese. Only then did he finally shape up and not rip us off with sub-par suggestions and lying about what's in each food... =/

Berries are about the only foods that are both nutrious AND good tasting.

Speaking of which, I need to start buying them again. It's just that they piss me off because they never last longer then a couple days in the fridge.

Is that an Edmontonian resturant? What was it called if you remember? I might know.

Not really... there's tons of fruits that I like as mentioned (green grapes! green grapes!) but I don't like them as much as some more complicated dish that destroys my liver in the process (along with my wallet.) Ehehe... not like you go to a fancy restaurant, and the best they can offer is a berry =x There's probably a reason to the prices, with unhealthy stuff being the most expensive usually.

Then just eat them faster =x put them in front of your computer and treat them as your snacks in place of cookies.

It's not that I can't eat them fast, but I hate having to return to the store so much, you know?

But I've got a strategy. I'll stock up on apples, berries, and grapes. Eat berries first, then grapes, then move on the apples, which last darn long. xD;

That should make my diet healthy.... I'll walk to the grocery store tommorrow at 10 AM, lol.

Thanks, it's been so-oo long since I went to the cinemas...XD

Don't worry your strategy won't fail you.

XD; The last time I went was 6 month ago to The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift.

But yeah, my strategy covers all my eating needs, between us nutrition-ignorant people. xD;

I'm never keen on taking those vitamin pills unless I'm sick and needs it as instructed by a doctor. Really... somehow we can't live if we take pure pills according to the amount htat we're suppose to need, so surely those pills can only act as a supplement to the basic healthy diet. It's not THAT hard to have a balanced diet... less meat, and more veggies/fruits, and that's really enough.

Of course, for 22sa, he can say buy less fruits every run so he'll make a daily morning walk to his grocery store. That sort of exercise should keep him healthy ;p

Oh yeah... exercise, but no! You have no idea how big my campus is. I have enough walking to do, with my huge backpack.

Grocery store = not somewhere I want to go more then once every one or two weeks. ;_;

Meh. Not sure if my campus is even bigger then UofA.

Surely that only more exercise can help! That's one of those things that you can never get enough of. Not that I do a lot of exercise (ahem) but if you got a chance and a source of motivation to do it, then go ahead and follow through with it. More walking never hurts, especially when it's necessary. Perhaps if you visit the grocery store more often, then you don't have to rely on instant noodles and its MSG so much ;p

Let's not talk so much about campus size.. it scares me because it reminds me of next week, being the start of university and all. Surely Miss Kanna won't like to listen in on the horrors of university so soon either =P Let her enjoy her life right now without giving her the glimpse of a super bleak future XD

That link claims no studies have found MSG is a health hazard. Good. xD; Instant noodles forever. ;_;

I'd sure like to replace instant noodles but I know of nothings else as easy too cook. =|

I wonder if pizza pops would be a healthy switch from instant noodles.

Why don't you try to cook something that's not instant or from the microwave...? Like, you could've use this Christmas to try to pick up a few recipes ;p Surely your mom wants you to have a balanced diet as well, lol. Plus, eventually you'll need to learn how to cook, unless you can find yourself a girl who is willing to cook for you =x

When you live by yourself... you really should learn how to handles these chores by yourself, including cooking. It'll be a nuisance, and I only know how to make instant noodles as well (due to my affinity of "anti heat" and "anti oil" as I shrieked away like a little girl when just a speck of hot oil land on my skin)... force yourself to learn it ^^

Wonder if Ms. Kanna considered cooking herself =x

EDIT: Going to game =x

...I just can't find the motivation to cook for some reason. o_o;

Even though there are a lot of interesting dishes out there. x_x;

As for mom, she's coming over later this month and will be living with me again, so somebody WILL be cooking for me, I suppose.

*Shot*

Kanna-chan worked in a resturant before, so she probably does have cooking intentions.

If I don't bump this back to the very top, 22sa will be the most upset with me ;p

Hm she worked at a restaurant? I thought that she's still pretty young to do part time job already... Last time I met her (and that's a year ago, about?) wasn't she only 12 or 13? Hmm... How interesting. I wonder what kind of a restaurant she worked in, and what position.

I personally won't want to work for the food industry really... Sometimes you keep thinking "I want to work at the sushi bars cause I LOVE sushi" but then once you worked there, you'll start to hate it cause you see it every day... lol.

Wait, you mean you and 22sa have met Jessica in person?

I've worked as a waiter once ... and I'll never do it again.
