Yes, I remember. I'm playing SS right now :P They did look like real animals, but not so dramatically. They had to have been mutated and cross-bred for a few generations to become Pokémon. This stork thing is so simple.

Look through a Kanto Pokédex and tell me WTH Golem, Mewtwo, Machamp, Ditto and Gengar are. :P

The swan is okay, I guess. I don't think I'll be using it because it reminds me too much of an old time Disney Movie.
The Deer is adorable, I would definitely catch it. It might be a Stantler prevo.
I don't know what to say about that chipmunk one. It's the first of this generation that I really don't like. It looks like a gangster chipmunk wearing a t-shirt.
