I'M SO SORRY FOR THE TL;DR, this is my curse;;;;
What is your favourite Naruto fight?
Favorite... Naruto fight..... HMMM I—don't tend to really have favorite anything in Naruto mostly because I'm considerably less passionate about that series in comparison to others, but the fight between Zabuza, Haku, and the team always stands out to me because of how sad it was. I always cry without fail.... o)-<
OMFG DERO SO MANY QUESTIONS LMFAO
What would you do if I offered you to trade my post as a moderator with you? I know I'm not the one who decides things but yeah. :p The answer'd probably a no knowing you but...I wish you'd be a regular poster somehow and not disappear once in a while ;_____; Because, as I've said before, U R SO MY FAVE A&D MEMBER, MISS. :< WHHHHYYY DOOO YOU LEAAVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEE????? :((((((((((((
Awww Dero! //// If you offered to trade your post as a moderator to me, as you guessed, I would probably decline your offer. ;7;; First of all, if I was interested in becoming staff again, I'd like to do it through my own power and be recognized by the higher staff and voted in proper. But, to be honest, a big reason of why I left the staff was because in a way, I felt like I was the root of the decline of both the roleplay and the art gallery sections. Under my guidance, both sections ended up dying until once separate forums had to be merged together for sheer inactivity in one or the other—case in point, the Pokemon Roleplay forums being merged with the Other Roleplay forums, and my brain child, the Competitions Forum being ousted entirely. I think the Art Gallery does much better under your direction, since you're so much more enthusiastic about putting forward new things for the members there to do. ^___^
Also, I don't disappear per say, I just lurk a whole lot more than I used to! ;7;; I tend to stop by every day, I just don't always see things to reply to. I suppose it's because most of my friends from back in the day are gone, and between you and Alexial, that doesn't leave many places to post! *^*;;
BUT AHHH THANK YOU like I said, I admire your work both as an artist and as a staff member, SO PLEASE DON'T OFFER UP YOUR POSITION, you do a wonderful job and I'm so glad they chose you to be this generation of artists' moderator!
All those bands I see there...I haven't heard any of their names. Are they really english bands?
Ahhh yeah it's a combination of Japanese, Korean, and American bands actually!
And aaand another question that's probably a little hard to answer for any anime-fan - Which one do you think you like the most out of FT, Bleach, OP and Naruto? And why do you prefer it over the others? What, in your opinion, are the weaknesses of those shows? :p
Gosh, out of those, to be honest the answer is easy- One Piece for sure! I currently really really like Fairy Tail, and I think Mashima has an extreme penchant for timing his battles so that you get just enough battle but that it doesn't end up dragging out like in any of the other series—but Fairy Tail, in the end, has a more child's manga feel than One Piece. One Piece really does deserve to be the heart of Japan's culture in manga, so I'll go with One Piece because it's just a timeless classic with so many great characters, lessons, and it never gets old! I do think a weakness of One Piece has to be the large cast of characters however—particularly in the current arc. It's hard to distinguish between the characters that are newly being introduced so far and it's all just—too many people, all at once!
What do you have against the ecchi genre? I know the genre mostly comprises of crappy storylines that are just a stupid excuse to show off them weirdly proportioned female characters in their panty and boob shots but there are a few mangas that have some really good storyline even though they do fall under the ecchi genre. FT's a super-light ecchi manga too, y'know. :p Anyway, ultimately, what's your stance on it? Do you absolutely despise anything that's labelled 'ecchi' or is it like 'naah, I'd rather not read this stuff because it's generally full of gross fanservice. but if someone points out an extremely good story I might give it a shot'?
I don't have anything against the ecchi genre per say—I said I wasn't a fan of it, not that I disliked it to the point I wouldn't watch it. For me, as a girl, I'm just not very fond of seeing another girl shove her boobs in my face you know? Like, I can shove my own boobs into a mirror if I really wanted to hahaha! But I don't mind ecchi elements, I think they can be quite funny as you mentioned—Fairy Tail is a borderline light ecchi, especially considering the latest chapters—but if a series can't prove to me that it has something other than ecchi to offer me right off the bat, then I'll usually put it aside in favor of other series. An example would be the Soul Eater manga, in which that cat—ooh, that was just too much for me, and I had to put Soul Eater aside and never ended up revisiting it.
Also do you realize that Monet avatar looks amazing on you? Not saying it's great because I made it but it's just you. you make it look good. ;______; I realize this might sound kinda stupid considering I'm talking about avatars looking good on people with specific usernames on a pokemon forum but...screw that. I just feel what I feel, lmao.
AH the avatar is all thanks to you! It's become my go-to avatar! Whenever a place asks me to upload an avatar, I always use this Monet avatar! Thank you so much for making it for me, I really like it! *V*
What exactly is international studies?
International Studies is an interdisciplinary major, which means that it brings a bunch of different focuses into one major. For example, you could have an International Studies major with a regional focus in Latin America and a functional focus in Economics. If that were the case, then I'd be looking at a career in Latin America's economy, whether as a budget analyst or something to that extent. For me however, I'm an East Asian regional focus and a Global Identities/Culture functional focus.
And what do you plan to do when you're in japan? Apart from studying like you're supposed to do, you know. Maybe visit a few historical sites or animation studios or something?
While I'm in Japan, I'll probably be doing a homestay! I'd like to learn how to cook traditional Japanese dinners and clean with my host mother so I can get a feel for Japanese family life (I'd like to raise any future children of mine in Asia,) and I'd also like to begin my senior research thesis on Hikkikomori! I'll be visiting a few other places with my friends too of course—I have a friend who's going to study abroad at Keio University, and she's gonna get me into the Keio Ikemen Contest! (Uhh, basically the competition for the Mr. Keio title, which is basically just a competition between who gets to be labelled as the best-looking and most talented guy on campus!) I'm looking forward to that one, hahahaha!
Of course, I do want to visit some historical sights as well, but I prefer smaller, quiet temples rather than the big fancy touristy spots. I've seen a lot of big temples already in Taiwan, and it's just not the same as the local ones.
look what i found!!! your voice is so sweet. Makes me think you're good at everything you do. Be it art or singing or whatever. <3; do you ever plan to do any anime op/ed cover? possibly one of the anime you mentioned in the first post?
OMGGGGGgggg LMFAO WHERE'D YOU—kfjadslk;ahf;lk o)-<
wheeze—YEAH that was something I sang for a friend of mine.... I'm really not very good at singing, that one was just a fluke which is why I posted it!
And ahhh I don't tend to cover anime songs mostly because they get less reception than vocaloid songs do! I am thinking of covering a number of other vocaloid songs in the future though, so hopefully those recordings turn out well! ;7;
Edit!
Ah, Sydian! Hello, I'm sorry you posted your questions while I was typing out my answers and I missed it! I do remember your username, it's familiar! *7* Nice to see you again!
Anyway! You're into a lot of anime, I see. Do you like anything in the Yu-Gi-Oh series?
I-- I WAS SUPER INTO THE FIRST SERIES... and a few of the subsequent sequels... I really like the ones with Yugi himself as the main protagonist, I watched many of them when I was young but alas, I don't remember much! ;7;; All I remember is that I really liked Duke, and I really really liked Kaiba and Kisara...;;;;
I don't actually, I'm rather fond of a lot of pokemon! If I had to pick a general three that come to mind though, I like Dragonair, Cloyster, and Scizor!
How is it coming back to PC and seeing all the changes? I know you return every so often, so I mean, I'm sure it's weird to see something new upon almost every visit, haha.
It's really amazing actually! Everything is so high-tech-- all this 'liking posts' business, and the last.fm players you can put into your profiles, and the CSS, and the lovely new layouts! I think it's great how PC continues to improve every time I come back with more and more for the members to enjoy and play with! I should really explore more outside of the Art Gallery and Roleplay sections to see more of what Ausaudriel's and Sotomura have been up to in terms of coding for PC!
Ah, the people always change too whenever I come back-- but what moves me the most is that no matter how much I expect to have been completely forgotten, there's still a few people who remember me! ;7;;; That always makes me very happy!
