Hello hello, Pokécommunity! The time has finally come, after some trouble on my end, to join up for the perfect charity to us gamers: a gaming marathon known as Extra Life!
Quick recap for those not paying attention, Extra Life is a yearly charity event where players participate in 24 hour long video game marathons meant to raise money for children's hospitals across the US and Canada. It's basically the perfect way to put your gaming talents (or lack thereof) to good use! "Turn off those damn games, you kids! You're wasting your time!" says your mom. "Nah it's for a good cause! I can't stop now or the kids will suffer!" you cry in defiance as you save countless children!
Dramatization aside, we have plans to run a continuous streaming event on Twitch, from December 11th through the 13th. But we can't do it by ourselves, we need the whole community's help to raise $1000 for charity! You can do this by signing up at https://www.extra-life.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=register.start&eventID=525 for your own account, and then zipping over to our team page at https://www.extra-life.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.team&teamID=22267
Now, if you want to help even more, you can sign up to be part of the PC Extra Life stream, being hosted on the Pokecommunity Twitch channel. All you gotta do is fill out this simple form:
