4kids Got One Piece!!!1

What is the one piece that you speak of?

*growls menacingly* x_x;; I'm fairly certain Naruto will be next in 4Kids' path. But who knows. Maybe 4Kids'll be nice and release it uncut on DVD too..? Gah. Sadly, I saw all this coming. ;_;
 
Well I've never seen One Piece or really know what it's about but 4kids getting ANYTHING is bound to be bad...

Bandai allready got naruto. It should come out in late 04 early 05.

I haven't heard any news on it being licensed *blinks* Well I don't care who gets it as long as it isn't 4kids, Naruto is NOT the anime for them to do X_x; It isn't for 5 year olds and never will be...
...Sasuke's clan will NOT be sent to the Shadow Realm! :p
 
Uuurgh...well it's better than it never coming to America. At least this means it'll probably be on the WB so I can see it (I don't get cartoon network -_- ) One Piece is my favorite part of Shonen Jump so I'm happy to have it come. Sure the voices and dub will suck, but it can't be too bad, right?

What?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Where did you hear this?????? NOOOOOOO~! It can't be licensed. That means no more decent fansubs from AonE-ANBU. :(

It's bad enough news to hear about One Piece going to 4Kids but Naruto is licensed too??

Edit: Wait, where DID you hear this? No anime news site has reported it, none that I goto anyway.
 
Oh i got the news dfrom toonzone i know someone there who works with bandai.
 
NOOOOO!!! 4kids has claimed another victim! This is horrible! Now we are going to have Veronica Taylor voice Monkey, the voice of Brock voice Nami, and some random hobo voice Zoro! Ahhhhhhhh!!!

How could this be any worse? *remembers his Shonen Jump for July still hasn't come yet*

Well there is a slit chance that we might get agood dub...this would be a good cast...

Luffy - Micheal Sinterniklaas (he's the best choice without a doubt)
Zoro - Eric Stuart
Nami - Lisa Oritz (but I'm very open to suggestions)
Sanji - Sam Regal
Usopp - Wayne Grayson (preferably with no accent)
Chopper - Mike Pollock (but I've never heard Japanese chopper before)
"Red Haired" Shanks - Sean Schemmel
Captain Kuro - Darren Dustin (the perfect fit IMO)
Captain Alvida - Maddie Blaustine
Koby - Veronica Taylor
Helmeppo - Eric Stuart (James voice)
Captain Chop - Dan Green
Captain Buggy - Mike Pollock
 
Aww, crap. I really likeed one peice, to bad 4kids got ahold of it, meh there goes my interest in that...
 
you know the best thing about 4kids getting One Piece? the fact they'll merchandise the heack out of it, and not just the action figures I'm talking videogames here, this virtually guarantees them bringing the OP fighting games over, or having Atari give OP the DBZ budokai treatment, it's all good
(and besides I just want the action figures.... and if none of this works there's always the manga)
 
Hmm..... Well I searched all of TZ's news for Naruto and fortunately none of these below stories mention Bandai licensing the anime.

But, just incase they for some reason didn't pick up the story in this search I also did a search on Bandai and also got no stories on them licensing Naruto. So I'm not sure which story you read, but Naruto is definiately not licensed. Yay! ^_^

Yeah, it's one of my favourite, it's sad to see this anime to goto 4Kids since there will be many edits, the only hope of seeing a decent version is if Funi sub-licenses it, like they are doing for Yu-Gi-Oh! and Shaman King, to release the DVDs subbed and uncut.
