3rd Gen 4th gymleader?

Where do I head to get to the 4th gymleader in pokemon sapphire? so far I only defeated three. Well the dad in the Oldale town doesnt want to challenge me, so where do I go and whos up next to be the gym leader I have to beat? tell me what city i have to go to next.......................how you get to fortree city btw? do u go there for da 4th gym badge???

seems lyk whatever i do i cant get there because theres a sea blocking it... and i dont got surf yet.... and dunno where to get it, im not even sure if i can use it.....

4th gym is lavaridge... fortree is the 6th gym actually ^_^;
You have to go to meteor falls to see that event with team magma/aqua. Then you can take the cable car up to lavaridge, with some more business with team magma and aqua

Gameboi: Meteor Falls is southwest of Fallabor Town. Go west, south across the brdige and through the moutain and into the Falls. From the falls, just to to the left to find Team Aqua/Magma. Both will run off, so naturally, follow them. I forogt the name of the place but it's a big volcanic moutain and you take a cable car up. The just battle the trainers until you meet the Leader of whichever team, beat him, done. Then just run south all the way to get to Lavridge.
