How do u get to the 8th city in pokemon diamond,this person keeps stopping me.

You have to get the 7th gym badge first. Then you go to the Veilstone Building and confront the Team Galactic leader. Afterwards, you trail him to the the highest point on Mt. Coronet, Spear Piller, and catch Dialga/Palkia. THEN you could go to the 8th city.

exactly what he said, and visit the houses on the route to sunnyshore by the way, I believe you get something.

And go to the three lakes after Spear Pillar to catch Uxie,Mesprit and Azelf (Mesprit bails though)

No problem. Also, I suggest starting from the Oreburgh City entrance to Mt. Coronet and climb your way up. That's what I did.

I started from Hearthome.
The entrance there gets you right where you need to start.
