So to many, this may be an old game now for 4 years running, but its still a very fun game! About 8 months ago I didn't really want to play online in Mario Kart Wii..then about 2 months ago I said, "What the heck, I'm going for it." I realized how fun this was, I decided to play it some more. So when I figured out that 9,999VR/BR was the MAX, I had a goal. After a while, I didn't realize how badly the hackers populate online. Like literally, its horrible. Spamming items, using Bullet Bill the entire race to win, always have a starman, etc.
So about a month ago I reached 9,100 & literally gave up, or simply, gave it a rest from online play. I'm competitive, so when I really want something, I won't stop until I accomplish it & want to get it over with basically. My worst struggle were simply just the hackers, otherwise I would had gotten this way sooner. (I know its suppose to be fun but...it really isn't fun when there's hackers on your tail anyway right? lol) So last night, I was playing as my friend's guest last night to get VR his up again on my Wii(since he had over 9,000 on his Wii before he sold it, but didn't reach 9,999VR), I had that feeling that I was ready to go again. So earlier today I put in my Mario Kart Wii, went up to 9,400 in a matter of 5 games, until I started to meet hackers left & right on several different occasions.
So FINALLY! @8:56PM Eastern Time on October 19th, I got to 9,999VR with a race on it. I feel so much lighter now than when I started the day out. I had to get this off my chest, & thought I'd share this with the rest of y'all. I'm literally one of the FEWEST racers to get to 9,999VR legitimately in this game, without hacks. So here's my autograph ;)
I have 1598 wins & 294 losses as my record to get there, all with only Princess Peach! She never lets me down! Uh, if anyone asks, I use Baby Peach for BR(Battle Rating) so I use them both for different game types. By the way, VR=VS Rating
