Do you think Butterfree would be a good Pokemon mascot (To take over Pikachu)?
If it was at the beginning of the whole Pokemon thing then maybe but it would probably appeal more to people who like Butterflys then just all Pokemon. Pikachu is a bit too popular to be taken down.
 
Yes..too bad that Butterfree didn't try to do the takeover at the beggining..

It was mainly because Pika was Ash's first pokemon and Butterfree was second
 
Oh yeah..if only Prof. Oak caught a Butterfree XD
 
Though Ash may have not been as strong as he is, with Butterfree..
 
True.... but maybe Ash would still have gotten a Pikachu alongside Butterfree in the Viridian Forest

If it did, Pokemon would have been a lot different IMO
 
Yes..like Ash would be weak against flying..so he'd have more electrics...wait that doesn't make sence..Just that Butterfree makes a big difference XD
 
Yeah and then Butterfree would have stayed instead of leaving with the pink Butterfree. So his team would have been different.
 
Yes..which could of meant that Mewtwo did take over Pokemon and Butterfree couldn't stop it XD
 
Well.... it would be a different Pokemon to what we know it now.
 
Yeah, no offense to Butterfree..but I don't think it will become the main Pokemon..or should not XD
 
Well... the storyline would have changed dramatically if Butterfree was. Its just how it was written for Butterfree to leave~ maybe Butterfree could have saved the world too.
