Oh I remember that ep. Its when we first saw a Beautifly. Even though I watched that ep like during the middle of AG because I missed a whole bunch. It was really strong but we never saw it again.

Yeah, even though I watched that ep in a language which I dont fully understand, I kinda worked that out. And May went on and caught a Wurmple which became Beautifly. (coincidence?)

Well...I'll just hope that Beautifly appears...just not as a bad gal XD

I dont think Beautifly would be made to be bad if under the E4, because the E4 we've seen so far werent bad. But if Team Galatic (I honestly prefer the name Galaxy) comes into the anime, which they will, it will be possible that they use Beautiflys...

This is kind of a random-ish topic, but;

Do you ever use Beautifly or Butterfree in contests and/or battles?

I had a Beautifly on my team for a while, because I needed it to learn Silver Wind so I could pass in on down to my Shedinja/Ninjask. However, after it learnt SW, I replaced it with Ninjask. :x *shot* I still use Beautifly from time to time, though. (: As for contests, no. I had a Dustox that was in a Smartness contest, but he didn't last long. D:

Well at least its a topic XD. I personally use beautifly rather than butterfree in contests and give it the following moveset.

Sunny Day
Synthesis
Solarbeam
Aerial Ace

As elegant and beautiful beautifly's silver wind looks in the TV shows, its next to pointless in the contests of the game as its not really effective. Arial Ace makes up for it though! :D

Yup, In FR/LG I use Butterfree towards the start of the game but gradually stop using it later in the game. In R/S/E, I use Beautifly almost throughout the whole thing until nearing the E4 as my "grass" type. And so far in Diamond I have been unable to catch a Butterfree but I stopped training my Beautifly at Lvl 43 and instead concentrated on using my Rozureido as my main grass type.

As for contests, I have used both of them before in R/S/E and D/P contests but they arent as effective as some others. But I have got them to Super Rank in Smart contests.

Well in Yellow my Butterfree was really useful, it could KO Agatha of Elite 4's Gengar because of its high level ^^ In Fire Red I merely used my Butterfree for PokeDex purposes and training purposes. My Butterfree in Contests made in to the Master Rank Beauty Champion xDD

As for Beautifly, in comparison with Butterfree, isn't as good in contests and battles, but she managed to KO one of Phoebe's Pokemon and made in to Master Rank Cute Champion ^^

Butterfree~ I remember using Butterfree in Pokemon Yellow when I was a beginning trainer and I trained a Caterpie so that it evolved. I used Butterfree for a little while then I got bored of it and ditched it in the PC xD I haven't used Butterfree in any contests YET..

Beautifly~ I only just evolved my Silcoon into a Beautifly so I could finish my PokeDex but I did train it a little bit so I could use it in the Pokemon Smart Contest. I lost by the Master Rank and then I ditched Beautifly as well =3

Would Beautifly be considered to be a smart Pokemon? Why?
Yes because it seems to be very intelligent, just by its looks xD But it does learn Smart moves (like for contests) just like every other grass Pokemon ^^

I cant explain it but the bit that kinda looks like its nose but isnt a nose...
