    Mhm. I discovered the discovery that a ton of max restores and a Gengar, as well as back up for Karen, is practically all you need for the Johto E4.
     
    ...cant say that means there's much discussion from this to be honest, given that a lot of Pokemon, provided they are levelled up enough and have a decent moveset, can take on any E4 by themselves.

    Going to close then - just seems that there isn't much to say here.
