    Before I start, I'll say now, there are NO Spoilers on the thread. It's clean. But this is something people need to be aware of.

    I just saw this on another site, and felt I should warn you. Apparently, several details on the seventh book (Deathly Hallows) may have been leaked that could massively spoil the series for people that haven't read any of the books. I don't know the details surrounding these spoilers and I don't WANT to know, but someone labeled it as, 'ruining it for us'. I wouldn't post details like that anyway, because I know better.

    Supposedly some of these have already been posted on boards by new members and people that just plain won't use Spoiler tags. Be careful of any new Harry Potter topics that crop up between now and the seventh book's release date.

    I'm going around and warning people of this, as the topic names may not be all that obvious. I do not post this lightly. Even if that topic turns out to be a hoax, if there is even the SLIGHTEST, most REMOTE chance that it is true, people need to be very cautious of which topics they click on.

    Examples of possible topics:

    Harry Potter Book 7
    Harry Potter Deathly Hallows
    New Information About The New Potter Book
    Wait 'till you read this!
    Inside Information About Harry Potter

    If you have even the slightest suspicion that any topics such as these might contain leaked information, whatever you do, DON'T click on them. Avoid them like the plague. That is all.

    I'm actually hoping to have the will to lock myself off the internet for a full three or four days before the book comes out. The ending was apparently leaked about a month ago and luckily I haven't run into the trouble of having it spoilt...but I'm not sure if that'll last all the way up to release. @__@;

    I've waited so many years to find out the ending of the series and damn it, I'm reading the ending, not getting it a cheap way. :<

    better not spoil it like I did reading the script of Star Wars 3 (I couldn't help it, it suddenly popped up right ther-listen you gotta believe me on this I didn't mean to. NOOOO!)

    I got the ending spoiled by a mistake or at least I think I did. My dad was watching Keith Oberman and I heard his ending. I'm not going to post it but be warry the internet isn't the only thing that will try to spoil this for you.

    Well, I had the ending the Half Blood Prince spoiled for me (The Dumbledore part), but it didn't affect me since I usually don't pay attention to them.

    Well... I read the Fanfic of Deathly Hallows... A different person made it... oh, and i dont care about spoilers... unless its big, i was playing maple story:

    [Some Random dude with megaphone]: Snape Kills Dumbledore..
    [Another Random dude with Megaphone]: While were on the spoiler topic,
    Spoiler:

    Well one of my friends told me she'd seen a spoiler for the 7th book on the internet and had told another friend. So back at school she told me on purpose and ruined it for me. I wasn't sure to believe it though but I'm sure that it could happen. I'm not going to say because I don't know if it's true or not. The rumour has certainly spoilt it for me though because when I'll be reading near the ending, there could be hints of it happening and I would already know what would happen...if it was to be true.

    I saw one of them on a hacker website, I don't really care for Harry Potter in the first place, and it made me laugh heavily. Its just a book...just like John Gresham, Tom Clancy, and all the other books in the world.

    I know it's just a book, and if I do hear the ending prematurely, it's not the end of the world. I still don't like things to be spoilt for me, whether it's a book, movie, game, or otherwise. :x It ruins the fun of reading it.

    The other thing to be aware of is the dreaded,

    LOL ---- Kills ----

    and

    LOL ---- Dies

    types of topics (where the spoiler is right in the topic name, we got some of these when Book 6 came out). They may seem spammish, but they could end up being true. One of these has already shown up on serebii itself, so the threat is real. And there could be many more cropping up in the days to come. So just be really careful of what you read on the net until you get the book.

    I'll probably do what Lightning is, and just FORCE myself to stay away from the internet for a few days before the release. e_e

    I will do the same. Just be on MSN, and the usual places I hang out before it's release.

    I'm a pretty big Harry Potter fan, to be honest. I haven't seen any spoilers as I am kinda...strict on myself with looking through spoilers, unless I actually want to see them. But this is the final book, and I don't want to ruin anything, on purpose or on accident, so I will stop research altogether.

    I should imagine that most spoilers over the Internet are fakes. J.K. Rowling has kept most of her spoilers secret. I doubt it will change now.

    I know the most recent batch of final chapter "scans" proved to be fake, so I'm not putting any confidence in the rumours, but I still refuse to read any of them, fake or not. xD;

    I'm annoyed though. I just realized that I have an open house at my university-to-be on Saturday. XD; I hope I can read it in the 8 hours or so from midnight to when we get there. @_@;

    OMG I have to stay off the net for awhile myself. I read Number 6 in one day and I cried when I read what happened to Dumbledoor. It was the saddest moment. I was like NO! NO! this has to be a mistake, why him and not Snape or Malfoy!

    I don't want to sound as though I'm trying to sound like a smart @$$ but who didn't see Dumbledore's death. I'll I needed to know was that "an extremely important character in Book 6" was going to die. First person who came to mind: Dumbledore.

    Lol, whether I saw it coming or not, it still bothered me. xD I cried the night I read Dumble's death, and I cried again yesterday when I reread it a second time. I wouldn't normally, but Dumbledore was my favourite character. DD:

    So now I just don't care what happens to who; I just don't want to know it before I read.

    If he ends up getting killed off I'll actually watch the movie version(I won't read the book though, I'd rather read good books) just to see that annoying little pervert die.

    had loads of people going around my school saying things that are going to happen in the book. But until I read it myself I'm not going to believe it. I was up till 1am last night finish the 6th book. I am going straight to the shops to get myself and my sister a copy of the book. I don't like waiting till she finished reading it because she always tells me what happens.
