a hero has arrived

[Hercules]

Lame title, I know, but it suits my Hercules name so why not? :p

Anyway, my name is Jasper. I'm thirteen and I'm from a little country called Philippines, which recently got hit by the super typhoon Haiyan. I've been a fan of Pokemon since the beginning of time, back when it was still black and white. This is like the fourth or fifth forum I've been in, so you guys don't need to worry about me that much.

I'd have to say my favorite Pokemon is Zekrom, 'cause when I caught him in White, I wouldn't use any other Pokemon since lol. Plus, he's in black and I love black.

I'm an aspiring author and game developer. I have a long long long long way to go, in all honesty, but with a little hard work and a cup of faith, I can reach my dreams. You won't see me posting my work here, though, unless it's finished. ;p

So you've been on other forums. Do you mind telling us which ones? What made you decide on that username?

If you're into game development, I'd suggest checking out both our ROM Hacking and Emulation forums and our Game Development forums.

ROM hacking involves editing existing Pokémon ROM images and altering the game's Read-Only Memory. It gets a lot more involved in true blue programming from the start, but if you want to scratch build your game or you don't want your players to have to use an emulator or download ROMs, then you might want to check out Game Development. Game Dev is modded by Maruno, and ROM Hacking/Emu is modded by karatekid553, DrFuji, and giradialkia. If you have questions, direct it to them.

We also have a FanFiction and Writing section for authoring things (FF or not), and that section is moderated by Slayr231.

Don't worry that you've previously been to other forums, I do hope that you've come to the place where you can 'finally know where you belong' (get the Hercules reference?) xD

Zekrom really is an amazing Pokemon for sure! It has become one of those few that I feel can be truly called legendaries. :3 The fact that it originates from Pokemon B/W and B/W2 makes it even more amazing in my eyes as those are one of my favourite games to date! Have you played any of the previous games before? I'm sure you have since you're one huge Pokemon fan :D

I've been on the ourWorld OGC Forums, the RPG Maker Forums, the RPG Maker VX Community, the Ushi No Tane Forums, the Serebii.Net Forums, the Bulbagarden Forums, and a bunch of other unknown ones. I'm not really keen on the subject of sharing my usernames there, since most of them are pretty lame and have my real name in it. But I thought of Hercules because my best friends and I are hardcore Percy Jackson fans, and one of my favorite characters is Herc.

But anyway, I don't think I'll be posting any of my fan fictions or my game here. I'm really shy when it comes to my work. Plus, I don't take negative criticism very well, which is what I'll have to work on first. Hope I see you around the forums, Alex!

Yeah I get the reference lol. Anyway, our family is very lucky because we weren't really affected that much by the typhoon. And thanks, prayers will help a lot!

I can vaguely remember that my first game was Silver or Gold, and ever since then, I've been a fan of the series. Once I started watching the anime, my addiction for Pokemon grew stronger. Currently, I'm begging my parents to buy me a 3DS this Christmas so I can play X/Y. :)

Oh and like I said above, I'm not really planning on posting any of my work here. That might probably change within a few months, though. Anyway, I'll see you around the forums, Synerjee!
