Ethis backed off, angry about not being able to show everyone her real ability. She calmed herself down though, and everyone's shadows returned to their owners. Ethis quickly turned on a peaceful tune, to prevent her losing it again. She started walking back towards everyone, although she felt dizzy from her 'Thorned Angel' ability. "Oh, me? I was supposed to go...I think to that place where people were doing some sort of research. I started to take off for it, but then I remembered I had no idea where it was. I was going to ask you guys, but you were all fighting. I sorta lost it, and the next thing I remember was you asking me what I was supposed to do. So, now I feel nausious, and I have to wait for Kanu. Another thing is the reason I'm not really freaked out by that guy over there, who is dead, is because videogames and horror movies are pretty desensitizing. But it's better than throwing up at the sight of blood, no?" After the rambling speech, Ethis felt even sicker, simply from talking so much. Ethis sat down, and looked at Razz.

"And it's Spikey, not hedgehog. I already called dibs on bugging Spikey." At that moment, Ethis fell over and was out cold.

Razz watched as Ethis changed back to her normal and less creepy form. The Lab huh? I think I might know where that is. "Spikey huh?" as Razz said that she saw Ethis fall to the ground. Ah man! Razz ran to her side to make sure that she was still breathing. "Are you alright?" She turned her violet eyes up to Haru and Qai. "Can you give me some help guys?" She got up and grabbed the cask of water from Qai's bag. "Sorry!" She said, appoligizing since this was the 2nd time in a day she'd taken without asking. Razz helped Ethis to be able to drink the water. Teira, what direction is the lab? If it's alright with you we'll go with Ethis.

As Stab expected, The Facility was different than what he remembered it as. The buildings were the same, but that was the only remaining similarity. During Stab's tenure, or "incarceration" as he later referred to it as, at The Facility, the large central Training Dome's exterior was surrounded by a vibrant green lawn dotted with statues of famous Ability-users. On this lawn were gangs of students, oftentimes congregating around statues of heroes they admired. Now, the campus was abandoned, the grass withered away, and the statues damaged by years of neglect and weather damage.

Yet, there were still signs of life within The Facility. Lights emitted from various windows about the Facility, two major areas in particular: the Private Labs and the Training Dome. The Private Labs had always been off-limits to the students, only Instructors were permitted to go within its confines.

Now that it was one of the only two areas of The Facility looking as if it had any activity happening in it, Stab felt like breaking that long-standing rule against non-Instructors going into the Private Labs.

The thought of going into the Private Labs made Stab instinctively clinch his fists and cover them with spikes.

"Lets go in, I'm sure the Instructors will love a visit from their old Alumni..."

"Atleast hedgehog is funny..." He mumbled, looking up at the night sky. "Okay, are we gonna get moving or not? Its been like, five minutes!" He complained, not liking to lie still unless he knew he was out of danger. He could still sence some sort of danger or presance on the back of his neck. "Hey, Razz, can you look into his memories or something? Find out what was going on with him before all this happened?" He asked stupidly, having watched WAY too many Sci-Fi films before embarking on this 'quest' of sorts, the search for the cure they all desperatly longed for. "And if its a lab your looking for I think I have an idea of where it is." He said "I did a report on this one lab around here and hacked their systms, I found out they were doing all this crazy expermenting and stuff like that." He added, remembering how they had tested on dead ability users, not wanting to share this information with the rest of the group, knowing razz would know.

We've got to keep this RP alive!

Razz didn't wait for Teria to say anthing, Haru was getting to ansy. I guess we should start to go. "Yeah, we should get a move on. The sooner we can find something out about a cure, the better." Razz moved towards Haru. She formed fire around her hands and the bottom of her feet. "Are you guys ready to go?! The sooner the better!" Razz threw her arm out showing for Haru to lead the way. She had heard what Haru had said about them experimenting on dead ability users. As she heard it, a worried look swept across her face for a minute, but dissapeared as soon as it had appeared. She really didn't want them to worry. "Come on!"

OoC: Yeah, I've been watching subbed .hack//SIGN and Zoids Genesis, which explains me not being very active as of late.

Ethis stirred a bit, then sat up. She noticed that Razz had fire formed around her hands and feet, and she seemed urgent to go somewhere. Ethis laughed under her breath, then stood up and brushed dirt and leaves from the previous fight off of her clothes.

"Eheh, sorry about that... I guess I overdid it. That usually happens when I use that ability. I personally like passing out better than I dunno, dying from overusing my abilities." Ethis then stared up at the night sky.

Quite a bit has happened in just a short time... At this rate, we'll find the cure for sure! Ethis had to snap herself back to reality, then looked at Razz.

"By the way, where are you guys headed? Oh, before you say anything, I have no transportation method right now, if we intend to stay together."

Qai placed both hands in his pockets, lowering his head slightly as he released a sigh. Death never surprised him, but it did remain somewhat unpleasant. Allowing Razz to use his water bottle without comment, Qai gazed at the former enemy's lifeless body in silence. Since they're only visions, I can't know every factor surrounding a person's death. But I don't think Haru's blow was directly responsible for this Ability-user's demise. The strike was a hard one, but lethal? Considering the opponent's responses to our other attacks, the chance of this hit killing him is rather low. Qai strode forward and knelt beside the corpse, removing one hand from this pocket to lay across the youth's forehead. The body was steadily growing colder, but still contained some warmth within it--a reminder of the life that had filled this form only minutes earlier. Qai's eyes narrowed as he studied the corpse. Though his visions of the living came automatically and were irrepressible, visions of those already dead were difficult to see. As he attempted to summon some form of image to his mind, the red-haired Ability-user continued to mentally review the situation.

There's also the change that took place during the death to consider. When I first saw it in my mind's eye, I wasn't sure what to think. And unfortunately, I'm still not entirely sure of my reasoning. But, considering some of the visions I saw while this boy was alive . . . A flicker of image passed over the dead boy's pale features, encouraging Qai to further focus his concentration. Considering what I do know, I'd say that the real cause of this Ability-user's death was the one who was controlling him. Suddenly a flash of white filled Qai's consciousness. Seconds later, a burst of pictures filled Qai's mind accompanied by a piercing headache like a knife being stabbed directly into his brain. Qai flinched, pulling himself away from the boy and moving both hands to catch himself as he fell back. While withdrawing from the deceased figure was one matter, looking away was another. Somehow Qai felt unable to move his gaze away from the dead Ability-user or even close his eyes to halt the visions that whirred through his head at an ever-increasing rate. How long the whirlwind of images paralyzed him Qai did not know. But after a time the male could only think of as "too long", he finally wrenched his gaze away, closed his eyes, and took in a slow and unsure breath.

Razz turned around as she heard Ethis talking. She smiled and turned around. "Hey! Sleeping Beauty woke up!" She looked at Ethis and looked at Haru and Qai. "It's no prob Ethis! It'll happen! Oh, and we're planning on going to the lab with you. If it's no trouble. We'll find some way to stay together." She said, smiling at the group. She turned back to see something was wrong with Qai. He had fallen back and was struggling not to see the body. As Razz reached him, he had been able to escape the visions he had been getting. It had been to painful for her to see as much as Qai had. She knelt down by him and patted him on the back. "Hey! Are you okay?" Her violet eyes looking at him. "Come on Qai! You're the one who's usually giving us the stuff to get better! Let's not change it!" Razz said as she tried to lighten the mood.

"Lets GO!" Haru yelled, jumping up and punching the air. He wasnt paying attention to anything the others wre sayign and just bolted headlong twords where he remembered, afterall, he was leading them. He looked back and saw they were all still standing there, a few kilometers away. "HEY! YOU GUYS GONNA CATCH UP OR NOT?" he yelled, waving from the top of the hill and standing there, his tails swaying in oppocite directions behind him as he did.

[OOC: I apologize for not posting here earlier. ^-^;;]

Qai smiled weakly in response to Razz's encouragement, his eyes remaining turned downward, unwilling to look at her and risk seeing more visions. "Heh, you're right. Sorry about that," he replied, standing as casually as he could and brushing himself off. "Maybe all the excitement's starting to get to me? Whatever the case, I'm fine now." The red-haired male's dark eyes hesitantly flickered past Razz and Ethis as he turned to view the already-distant Haru. "He seems to recover quickly . . . " Qai observed silently. The Ability-user shouldered his backpack, finally gathering enough resolve to gaze at Razz directly as he addressed her. "I suppose we should catch up with Haru. He's someone I'd rather not leave alone." For a brief moment the youth's smile strengthened into noiseless laughter before vanishing. Again his usual, composed self, Qai started toward Haru at a steady run. Whether this swift recovery would be considered more eerie or reassuring could only be decided by individual opinion, but regardless of such views, anyone only seeing Qai now would never have known something was wrong to begin with.

Even if I can't explain my visions to anyone, maybe I can still tell them my theory about that boy's death. When and how to tell them, though . . . For the moment, I think that theory will wait. Qai briefly cast a glance over one shoulder to verify the other Ability-users were following. Maybe we'll find something at the lab that can better bring things to light.
