Since I'm not allowed to link or post my fan-edit here, I'll just talk to you about it and hopefully I won't get banned for it! ;)

I recall I had a ton of Pokémon (obviously the first season) episodes and always wanted to see what it would be like if I stitched them together to create a bazillion-minute long super-feature!

Call me crazy, but I DID! I stitched together episodes 1 through 22 and the current runtime is a massive 6 hours and 16 minutes!

Here's why I did it: It's basically a Pokémon digestion test. To see how much of this not-too-creatively-written show you can stomach before going insane! Also, it gives you a different perspective on the series because there is no ending to it. It just keeps going and going... it's really rather special!

The major changes that I made are that there is no title theme before each episode (except at the beginning), no Episode Titles (ex. "Bulbasaur and the Hidden Village"), and no "Who's That Pokémon?" bumpers. It's all threaded together to become one gigantic order of a Pokémarathon!

I'm still adding more and more episodes, and of course I won't link the finished piece, or post it (I couldn't anyways... it'd be way too huge) on this forum... but I just wanted you to know it exists, and I'd be happy to talk to you about it :)

I logged on here just to reply to this.

What a horrible idea. I'm sorry but this is just not good. You put together those episodes instead of non-super boring episodes. It would've been better if you stitched episodes with actual quality and not nostalgia.

If it were a Battle Frontier or a Diamond and Pearl feature I would watch it, not the others.

In short, it's a bad idea.

Dude. you are wasting your life.

Remember. If products give Negative effects. It will not go well. If it gives Positive effects. It will download like Pancakes.

As for this, it is a Challenge. It is Negative in general public and will only reach few people. If you continuously waste your life with this. Not only could you have spent precious hours on the interwebz or Homework, but you also wasted many Kilobytes, even Megs, of data down the drain

BTW, I found this on the floor while surfing FBI Deletes. I think it's yours...

guys, guys, guys... :tired: It only took around 1 hour.

    Seriously.

You don't have to concern yourself about it.I didn't even RENDER the file. It would have been too big anyway. However, I tried rendering half of it in iPod (.mp4) format just to get a taste of what it's like.

As the thread title insists. I was bored... and that usually implies that this was done in the vicinity of less than one day.

And I agree with Time, because he's the only one that actually took it the way it was meant to be taken: not seriously! I've always wanted to know what it's like to see these episodes back to back... just like what they did with the Dragonball Z season DVD collections that are being released.

And, Dark Lugia... To me, the Pokémon series stops at Monster #251. I haven't seen much of the "Advanced" series, and none of the "Diamond and Pearl" series. But I can't imagine it being any different from the original (that's the Indigo League stuff). But if you insist, I'll take a look at some of the newer (D/P) episodes to see if it really is that great. Any good episode suggestions to convince me otherwise?

Anyways, in conclusion: this was done out of sheer amusement and I would have hoped it would have sparked interest into wondering what it would be like had the good ol' Pokémon show been merged into one big presentation. That's all. It took very little time to take out pieces of footage, and it entertained me for a good hour.

It was just a figure of speech: the 'going crazy' part. I thought it was apparent... :\... you know... 'too much of a good thing' sort of effect.

See? Nothing to get worked up about!

P.S. Nice attachment! (where do people get all those anyway?) But I use something a little more advanced (and faster) than Windows Movie Maker, thank you. It's not like I use it to sit around and make Pokémon fan edits all day ;)

Lol, this sounds hilarious! But i won't watch it, seeing as I don't have about six hours to sapre at any one time...who does, btw?
