Hiya, I'm Roxanne Rosie but many of you may know me as Sammy, or even fewer may know me as Dev. I'm 19 and currently live in the fantastic state of North Carolina. I enjoy playing video games and speedrunning. I tend to game on PC and Nintendo consoles, having never owned any non-Nintendo console since the early PS2 days. My favorite series include Metroid, Resident Evil, and of course, Pokemon, and my favorite games include Metroid Fusion, Prime 3, Resident Evil 1, Chrono Cross, and Grandia. I also play competitive Counter-Strike and used to play Comp. TF2 (Highlander). I am however looking into getting back into Highlander and possibly 6v6.

Most of my time is spent either sitting in Mumble chatting with one of my old TF2 buddies, Nursey, or speedrunning. Usually I speedrun Metroid Fusion but every once in awhile I'll break out Zero Mission, Prime, or one of the older Pokemon games to speedrun, but I tend to stick to Fusion as its my main game and have been running it for the past 3 months. I usually do a Fusion playthrough twice a day, so I easily know my way around it. Like I said earlier, I also run Metroid Zero Mission, Prime and the older Pokemon games, specifically Blue, Crystal, and Sapphire. I've also been practicing Super Metroid, Other M, and Metroid II to eventually do full runs.

That's pretty much all about me and I look forward to any and all questions.

I got into speedrunning by watching a speedrunner's (I believe it was EnNopp112 or Werster) stream and I like how they could continually play the game hours and hours on end and compete for the best time. I also like all the glitches and tricks they do to save time, like getting out of bounds or the Wrong Warp in Ocarina of Time.

I've been speedrunning for the past 6 months but the first month was pretty much deciding on what game to run. I originally ran Super Mario Sunshine but stopped due it it being too hard and I kept getting stuck in the third area and killing the run. I then moved on to Fallout New Vegas, seeing as it was pretty easy to run and after I got a satisfying time of 42:56 within a week, I moved on the Metroid games as well as Pokemon Blue, and been running them to this day.
