I've had a problem with Emerald that I can't figure out and it's probably good that I research it now lol.

So I am using Emerald, the rom is extended 32 mb. Offsets I try to use for scripts etc are 0x1000000.
I know it has to be possible ...
In A-map 1.92 when you insert tileset image or block set or change map dimensions or want to change a city name or insert a map, you have to repoint. Well my repoint space is currently limited to anything less than extended rom values due to the fact that the if any of those are repointed to extended rom offsets, the game will work normally but the tiles are all funky and look weird. I'm sure it's a repoint issue with a-map and some hex thing where the offsets are written XX XX XX 08 instead of XX XX XX 09 or something but I tried finding the offset 1029C34 in HxD as 34 9C 02 08 and changed the 08 to 09 to see if it's load up the repoint yet it still looks all weird.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Idk, maybe this is your problem. I quoted this from LU-HO himself :3
Using AM 1.95 together with AM 1.92:
Attention: if u use extended/32Mb sized Roms, you shouldn't use AdvanceMap 1.92 anymore.
AdvanceMap 1.92 create Errors if you try to save data in extended ROM area (from Offset 1234567 it make 234567).
If you use AdvanceMap 1.95 and want to change Worldmap with AM 1.92, be very careful so you don't damage your Rom..

You have to use A-map 1.92 for emerald to get the repoint window to open because 1.95 doesnt have it and if you let 1.95 repoint, it messes up the rom.

Well maybe because you extended the rom. :/

Ok? What do you think the point of this thread was? I wrote "extended offsets" in the title ...

Doing this e-enables the prompts that come up before you repoint something so you can manually choose the offset (be it in the extended area or not).

    Spoiler:
