A More Mature Pokemon Series?

    Who wishes for a more mature Pokemon series, maybe with REAL villians, more romantic themes, a bit more action, well a bit more anime-ish :P so what kind of things would you want for a more mature Pokemon series?
     
    I would want that too.I would want more romance and more couples.Also more action and more villians.Team Rockets old now.And maybe for them to actually catch Legandary pokemon.
     
    I don't know about it being a bit more "anime-ish." However, yes I would like to see a more mature version. Romance tops the list. However, some arguements breaking out into fist-fights would be interesting. Actually losing Pokemon to criminal orgainizations rather thean have them be resuced by an unbelievable circumstance of pure luck, or an irrational action-hero. A few swear words every several episodes or so could really accentuate some points as well.

    Hpwever, it would give an opprotunity to answer the question that I've asked for a long time: Why doesn't team Rocket just buy a freakin' gun?
     
    Because Team Rocket are really good inside and a gun is too violent for them.

    Actually, if one of those TV Productions in Japan was willing to convert Pokemon Special (Manga) into Anime, I think half of those criteria can be met. More action, storyline and also interesting characters in the plot. Only that the romance is limited to guessing?
     
    they should at least show some blood when a pokemon use a move like bite or sumething like leaf blade should cut right thorugh a pokemon's skin, also they should at least have sume kissing secnes or sumething like that and way more action team rocket should be gone thier motto is getin on ma nerves!!!!
     
    Key word here is mature. Swearing really accentuates the desperatness of a situation, when used sparingly of course. I'm a writer, and this is how I think.

    And way to get literal on my gun comment.

    More or less the manga. Everything here except the romance can be done in the manga.

    And dump the current characters and bring on an older set of characters...

    Thats what a lot of people think will happen after two more leagues when ash finally wins 1st place.
     
    Pokemon makers doesn't do things like Kissing, Blood and swear because:
    1, Parents might complain
    2, They can't send pokemon anime
    3, Younger kids ( under 8 ) might watch pokemon or loves pokemon
    4, They may think we could get diseases ( like in the Eletric Hero Porygon, which was never aired in other countries)
    5, If it have bloods then lots of pokemons die ( they may think this is unsuitable)

    My cousin has the japanese episode and I watched it.....

    I don`t understand, why we can`t see kissing or guns in "Pokemon". Cartoons for kids usually have something like that.

    I would like to see a romance. But not childish only mature. They should show someone`s feelings, pain and kissing. Maybe May should be in love, but not with Ash only with another guy. James for example XD They should show warm relationships.
    Also bad guys should be more evil. Jessie and James make anime really so childish. Also, Butch and Cassidy are not so evil. I`m glad, Team Magma and Team Aqua aren`t funny.

    Oh, I remember, that relationship between James and Rose was pretty mature. They should show something like that again =D

    Iy only affected 1 out 100,000 people. I think a new show might be made IN JAPAN, and not brought over if it were more mature,lol.
     
    People didnt get sick they got seizures lol. due to the flashing lights in one scene.....
     
    I would love a more mature series, the childish-ness of the show is the only reason I stopped watching. Romance, eh, I'm not to much of a fan of romance shows, but definately some realisim. (Blood, maybe a **** gun here or there, everything not turning out perfect by the end of 30 minutes.)

    Sounds like a Yugioh Yami-YugiXTea to me thing. ^^;;
    I guess everyone is growing up, everyone meaning fans of Pokemon, and the ones making the anime should really cater to the new needs of the fans.
     
    I'm looking forward to see it happen. I really liked TR back in the days when they were really evil (the first 15 episodes or so). Back in those episodes some kind of uncertainess was there too.
    Present day, all the evilness is gone. I don't really consider TR a real threat to Ash and co anymore, more like an annoyance.

    Several specials like Mewtwo Returns, The Raikou Special (I can't really say why, but especially this one), most Hoso Specials seems be a more mature than the series.

    Luckly Team Magma and Aqua are around too and I hope the writers are going to make something good out of it.
     
    hmmm... I wished Pokemon Anime was more like the Pokemon Managas... they seem more mature and better battles than the anime verson. o.o

    I wounder why...
     
    sure do i! i would love pokemon anime become like the mangas the battles r way to cool!!
