A More Mature Pokemon Series?

The only mature word i heared in pokemon was the word "sex" from Movie 2 but that is about it, even if it was use the right way in the movie, it is still a Surprise to me that the censors let the word though.

The word "sex" was used as gender, not as... the other way *shifty eyes*
Yet I was shocked they said that, no matter the use. You know, with 4kids and little kids in the audience... XD

On topic, maybe a little more romance wouldn't kill the show. I like romance, and it would make it a little more mature. ^^
I just can't see it that well. *keeps on blaming*

I would totally love if Pokeman was or was made into a more mature show it would be totally better. And would help make the show a bit more realistic. I mean Team Rocket could be taken more seriously and not get blasted off into the sky every single ep and still be alive. And it would be cool for them to have a main enemy every season while on their little adventures together.

Oh and it would be so great if the charecters acutally aged each year or atleast changed their appearnce like they just now did. Having Ash and co. become 16 and taller would be so great and intresting. And the battles would be so much more better.

I always wondered since watching the show, what it would be like if some of those situations were handled more realisticly, for instance... what if Misty or May had some more emotional problems from having to live up to the standards of Gym Leaders in the family? That time that Ash "died" and played around with the ghosts-- what if he stayed dead for longer? How would it affect Misty? And Brock.. doesn't he get TIRED of being rejected all the time? Maybe even suicidal? XD Seriously, I would like to see what pokemon would be like if it was more "real".

I would like more action and violence, also I think there should be less romance.

Maybe like my fanfic Pokemon Beyond??

I can see already.
The characters do get a bit of blood, there is govt cloning(a Nurse Joy and Jenny cloning faculity in okinawa)
Ash morphing into Ho-oh

I think, for the juniors, why can't there be a junior series, as it is, and a "M" rated senior series, and then an adult series?
And there is a lot of love making in anime, and violence. The love making belongs, I believe, in adult series. The M series could have passionate kissing and suggestive things.
And for heaven's sake, TR are irritating. Monotonous. It's the same way again and again. TR concoct a stupid plan. They fail after a Gary Stu/Mary Sue-beats-evil battle, and they "blast off again." Honestly, I'd love to see TR actually win for once. The eps are way too predictable. And the characters are GS/MS GOODY-GOODY TWO SHOES!!! Arrrggghhh... We're getting sick of these sterotypist, MS/GS GG2S characters straight from an overused mould. *rolls eyes frustratedly* At least TR have the most human quality in them. Humans aren't sinless. MS/GS seem to be PERFECT!!! aaarrrrgh!

What we could use in the show are a bit more serious action.
Make Team Rocket an actual threat, instead of those goofy trio with their arkward Giovanni fantasies. Team Aqua and Team Magma are what I'm talking about. They make a threat, they're actually dangerous, and they have a plot. Team Rocket just wants to take over the world. The typical stereotypic bad guy theme.

The battles should be a bit more intense. They've gotten better with them since Hoenn started, but we could use a bit more graphic. Show the pain a bit better, show the attacks a bit more damaging. Right now they just look like someone is throwing stones. And that's about it. Not much, when you consider that Pok?mon should be way more stronger.

Or better yet. Let the show live up to the game. Death is dealt with there. In the anime, death isn't really a discussed issue with Pok?mon. More humans. We have yet to see the cemetary at Mt. Pyre, and in Lavender Town, which is disappointing. The movies deal with deaths of Pok?mon though, but really. Why do the movies get the honor, but not the show in general? Currently, it looks like the show is playing around. And that can be boring. More plots, more serious situations, and more intense battles.

are u kidding me? there not gonan make it more mature when kids are watching it. they did in the movie like Movie 2000, when Meoth said "U DONT NEED EACHOTHER GENDER SEX CAUSE U GOT EACHOTHER" to Jessie and James :O.

Team Aqua and Magma doing the 'Orb thing-See the topic: Groudon vs Kyogre.

I think Pokemon is gradually getting more serious (e.g. Team Aqua and Magma), but I think it will keep the campy kids show feel as well. Team Rocket is just there for comedy, as well as to fill time. Without them the series would barely be pushing 200 episodes.

What would be really cool is if some really nasty Pokemon was unsealed and all the Legendaries had to unite to stop it. They could make a saga out of the group trying to find them all.

Another thing that should happen, and already is in some respects: Pokemon should have branching evolutions, where they can evolve multiple ways. Pikachu 1 could become Raichu like normal and Pikachu 2 might end up becoming something entirely different, just as an example. That would make the show more interesting; you never know what the team is going to get...
