A New And Superior Pokemon Game

The scope of the game appeals to me but it's just an impossible feat for the current technology. That alone kills the idea at the onset. Next up you'd have to look at a marketing standpoint and scratch your heads as to how this would leave open room for future releases.

What I think would be incredible is an online version of the game where all of these different worlds are connected and you can travel at will so long as you can survive it, sort of like the typical MMORPG. You'd have the option of which city you'd want to start in and that'd decide how you pursue the gyms (that is; if you even cared about Gyms). All NPC players could be programmed to be relative to your level that way when you jump continents you won't be the strongest one there.

This cannot fit on a DS cart. And I don't like the ideas of (a) being forced to start in a specific region, and (b) having to ditch my Pokemon from one region when I move on to another region. I want to stick with one team throughout the entire thing, which will inevitably bring up the "overpowered" issue, but I'm not about to do the "start over in a new region" thing either.

An MMO version of this might be feasible, if the other issues mentioned were fixed. And of course we need customizable trainers so everyone doesn't have identical-looking online avatars.

well probably Nintendo won't make such game

only fans may make such game :)

but if the fanmade game hurts Nintendo sales then probably it will be closed down

It's not feasible for Game Freak no matter what happens unless they take on a bunch more staff or change their release schedule for Pokémon games entirely. Remember how stripped down for time Kanto was in GSC and how they've never tried a second region again.
