@Zeph - I'm planning on giving you all sort of mini-rivals a bit later in the region. There won't be any full blown rivals like the last region though. 7 RPers and 7 rivals in a final league would be chaos I think.

@drunk¬_¬ - I was actually thinking about this the other day. Trying to work a route round Hoenn is far more difficult than I thought...

As for the starters, I haven't actually thought about it yet... the main problem I see is that if I let 1 of you have a starter, I have to let all of you have one. I'm having trouble thinking of a situation where there are 7 starters to give away.

well, for the starters i didn't mean that you should give out seven more pokemons to us, what i meant was making the mudkip-treecko-torchic trio catchable
(since i'm really looking forward to catching one of them for vitor :D)

as far as the route, this is an idea i came up with :D

1st gym - starting out with rustboro, then heading north to fallarbor town and then to
2nd gym - lavaridge town and south to
3rd gym - mauville city, after this we could go west to rustboro, and stop by
4th gym - petalburg city, then we could make our way to
5th gym - dewford town, and from there going from the sea route to pacifidlog town, and to
6th/7th/8th gym - mossdeep city, after which we'd go either down to
6th/7th/8th gym - sootopolis city, or back mainland to
6th/7th/8th gym - fortree city

btw, i'm completely disregarding the order of the games since the levels can be changed in the rp :P

and yeah, that'd be my choice (especially since i get to say hi to my folks after gaining a few badges :D)

@Drunk: That's a legit idea...not a fan of it, since I like order, but its a legit idea all the same. I'll support it if need be.

Finally, You Had Me At Hello, Sam and Warren have been out there for a year, right? Wouldn't it be right to raise both of their ages by one, making them 15? Just saying...I was scanning the first post again.

As for the route around Hoenn, that could work. Whatever happens there will be a lot of travelling by water. I had two ideas to try and solve this.

1. Use Mr. Briney... a lot. The problem with this is that everyone would need to go together which means one person going slow could kill the entire RP.

2. Maple buys all the trainers a 'Hoenn ferry pass' (deinitely just made that up)... but stay with me.

A new company has set up a service that runs to all of the outlying Islands in Hoenn. Maple pays a fee, and the trainers pokedex shows an icon to signify they've bought a years pass to use this ferry companies service. In my mind, the boats would be trainer dominated and as such would offer battle facilities to keep their passengers amused.

What do people think of this idea. I imagine it would be a viable business option, as trainers who don't have a pokemon that knows surf (which is supposedly a rare HM) wouldn't be able to travel around Hoenn.

@Izuna - Yep very good point, I'll raise their ages now :)

@Izuna & Zeph - Are you saying the games order or Drunk's new order?

Since I can't decide which would be easier to do, I'll put it to a vote. Should we go the route that the game's follow, or follow Drunk's new order posted a few posts up?

I apologize for not posting, I work this weekend and as I'm typing this, I'm getting ready to go to work again -_-; Yupp, but I'll have no poblems catching up.

Anyway, I don't really care which route we take, it'll be fun anyway, so I'll go with the popular vote =]

I'll vote games just because that order's always made sense to me. You can make all the passes you want. As soon as I'm given the option to catch a legitimate water type (Staryu etc.) I'll use that to get around. That just works easier for me. As for Vitor (there, happy? I used the right name), he could probably use a Golduck after evolution of Psyduck.

@Zeph: hey, umm, i was reading your last post, and i noticed something... magma and aqua grunts are only supposed to have one pokémon each,
i would usually not say anything and leave it for YHMAH to clear that up, but since the word one WAS capitalized, i'd suggest you change it :nervous:
