    Hey, yesterday i watched this episode on polish Disney XD and the music used when Serena finds her Eevee while crying didn't made any sense, was the music sadder in the original version?

    It wasn't really 'sad' but it was certainly more tense. It was changed because of money (as most things are). Dubs usually follow the English release because it's easier to access.

    Now, The Pokemon Company International (TPCi for short) who do the English dub, have the permission to use the original soundtrack from the raw footage. But to do so, they have to pay royalties. It's much more profitable for TPCi if they replace the soundtrack with their own. That way, everyone else who uses the dub to translate, now has to pay for using the dubs music.

    Now, with the shift of the English dub from Cartoon Network to Disney XD, this might change. Then again, it might not. But the first two episodes showed some promise of keeping the original soundtrack.
