For some reason, my mom is having a problem with her MSN. It's showing some of her options in Japanese but all of her settings on MSN and on her computer, are in english. She's tried everything she can think of to fix it, restarting her computer, MSN, unistalling MSN and reinstalling, nothing.

I figured I'd come here to see what you guys could have some solutions for her.

It's her MSN Messenger, like her drop down menus when she ims me, if she clicks games or something, its all in Japanese but like where it says files...edit...all that its in english.

Did she try uninstalling it, then performing a disk clean-up, followed by shutting down the computer, unplugging it from the back, and holding the power button down for fifteen seconds (if it's a desktop, that is)? That usually would solve any real problems. Well, for me it does anyway. I don't know what kind of system you're talking about, but that's how it works with Dell. Then in about five or so minutes, replug it back in and start up the system.

    was the installer english?

I'm starting to wonder this as well. Files don't usually just turn Japanese in an installed program.

I'm not sure If you want the computer language in English and Msn in English, or Both in Japanese

For your MSN, If you want the Menu's in JP then download a Japanese Installer

It is a possibilty that the Language settings on your PC are wrong

Try going to Control Panel> Regional and Language Settings
