go to your user control panel, https://www.pokecommunity.com/usercp.php and fill in whatever info you want in the various sections.. upload or pick an avatar, create a signature, add a youtube video, etc

There are a lot of ways to design your profile to your liking, and your User Control Panel as Rukario pointed out to you is the place for it all to happen. Just have fun with it...

It is probably confusing, as some people, like I, have no idea what some of the terms mean :<. It needs an easier user-friendly interface.

Okay well I think I could explain some things here. You go to your User CP and then there is a whole bunch of options. Your avatar is where you choose a picture from PC's list of avatars, or you upload your own. Your profile picture is pretty much the same thing where you upload your own profile picture. The thing where it says "Change Profile Colors" is where you could change your profile look and to view your profile you could either click your name on where it says Welcome, xxxDawngirl or go to your User CP and click on where it says "Your Forum Profile". Your signature part of the User CP options is where you upload your image signature or copy and paste one from wherever you got it. Make sure it doesn't bypass the signature size limit. Lastly, there is the Switch Forum Style option on where you choose the forum theme. I think that's all the information you wanted to know, hope that helped.

Well you can put a Profile Pictures, Make Albums, Join Groups, To make your profile great :3.. You can also pick a color for your profile.. Okies? Ahihi. Hope i helped :3
