Before I get started let me clarify that I am in NO WAY *****ing or moaning about my threads getting locked, that's not what the issue is. The issue is that there is very little support for new users. It's called Poke-Community but it's far from that in it's current state. The new addition of the In-Game teams area is a GREAT addition! Honestly, it's great, but I need to make a few suggestions for the section. Remove the "must have six listed" rule as this prevents people from seeking help on incomplete teams, which is a very common question. Just google pokemon and half of the Yahoo questions pages are about what types to use.
One of the issues I'm seeing is that the sections may be a little too specific for new users. It'd be like a political forum having sections titled Republican and Democrat but you can only talk about the actual primary candidate for both parties in those sections, and there is no section to talk about the other parties. This is fine, so long as there are proper sections added for each thing, and like I said the In-Game team section is a great start. I already know myself and a few others are going to use that section religiously.
Keep in mind that not everyone plays this game to the extent that some of you do. Some people need help with other things rather than just already-constructed-team-ratings. As I said, the In-Game Team section could use some rule alteration.
Moderation seems remarkably heavy. Everywhere I look posts are being deleted, moved, etc. That's good, and I'm all for heavy moderation (anyone here who remembers Movie6.net will remember how hard I was on the users there) but that doesn't mean that every little post needs touching up.
Aside from that, that's about all I have to add for now. I'll bring some other things up later. Keep on keepin' on guys =)
