Hello to all you fellow Pokemon lovers!
My 'name' is Flopsy, and I've just found and signed up for this sight today. It's the most well-put-together and active Pokemon fourm I've seen- if only I had found it sooner! Let's see, a breif bit about me and my time with Pokemon. I was born in 90, and pokemon was my very first game on my pink game boy color, I was about seven or eight when I started playing. I bought, or rather my dad bought me Red, but I picked it out- Bulbasuar was my first pokemon.
I think the reason a lot of people still play the newer and older games is because they grew up with it. I remeber linking up my game with people via that dinky cable over recess and battleing pokemon. My first ever pokemon 'main' team was Venusaur, Piggot, Vaporeon, Marrwack, Raichu and Haunter. I never traided Haunter (his name was Spook) over to anyone, because I was afraid someone would run off with him and not trade him back once he had evolved. xD
I bought Yellow, but I never got very far in it- I can't even remeber what team I used. Then Silver and Gold came out- I can still remeber picking up my reserved copy at Best Buy. I bought Silver, and Cindaquill was my starter this time. I can't remeber all the pokemon I used for my main team- but I remeber my Umbreon, that I loved to death.
I bought Ruby but never got very far in that either- as a kid there was some contraversy about Pokemon going on with the people I knew, and my mom ended up throughing away my games one day. But not to fear! Adault-hood came and I'm still playing! xD
I have not picked up Leafgreen yet- I'm going to get it after I play White for a good long time, and recalme my old friend Bulbasaur.
Outside of Pokemon I'm a simple cashier getting ready for collage. I cant spell very well at all (if any has yet to notice that >_>) but I'm fairly good at the piano and art. I moved out of the big city and into a small town last year, and my roomate and I both play Pokemon avidly. You'll probably see her around the fourms sometime soon. I love to cook, LOVE to bake and hope to be a teacher someday. Oh- and I live in the U.S. I forget that it's important to mention that sometimes xD.
