    Well hello there, and thank you for stumbling on my little thread. I'm as happy as a Clamperl that you did. :D My name is Marina, and I'm currently twenty-three years old. I hail from the lovely little state of New Jersey. Okay it's not so lovely, but it's home, and I don't know much elese. I am a full-time veterinary technician and single mom, as well as a professional gamer and slacker. I'm happy to say my daughter is following my footsteps as a self-classified otaku. I'm pretty much a big nerd in general myself, and I've been just that as long as I can remember. Some of my earliest memories involve me sitting on the floor while my father watched science fiction movies, and he had me hooked on Star Wars when I was a little girl.

    Moving along, I've been a fan of Pokemon ever since the release of Red and Blue when I was in the fourth grade. My favorite Pokemon will forever and always be Eevee because it's just so darn cute, but I have appreciation for all the little creatures. While I certainly have my favorites, I've experimented with most Pokemon's stats and movesets at least once. I'm currently doing a playthrough of Pokemon Yellow out of boredom while also getting used to Pokemon Conquest, and greatly enjoying both.

    I am an avid roleplayer, so expect me to be hanging aroud the RP forums frequently once I've gained my land legs here. I also have a project in RPG Maker VX Ace, which I work on when the mood strikes me, so I'll be chilling in the game making forums too. If there's anything else you'd like to know about me, feel free to ask! I'm a pretty sociable person if I do say so myself, and I enjoy making new friends.     @Vee217: You should take a trip across the Hudson sometime. My college had an entire club devoted to Pokemon, and another one for anime in general. Sadly there aren't as many fans where I'm living now, but it's always nice to meet another. :D

    Professional gamer eh? Spiffing maybe you should come and help me win my F1 2010 game. That shizzniz is difficult!
