A wild THRASH appeared!

Well, hello there, Pokécommunity. My name is Ash, and to the untrained eye, I probably seem like just your average, everyday sixteen year old girl. But, you see, there is more than meets the eye. I am quite actually a transformer with the Cute Charm ability. School girl by day, attractive crime-fighting 1982 Ford Escort by night.

But let's get serious. I've been an avid Pokémon lover since I got Blue version and a purple Gameboy Color as a Christmas gift from my dad many, many years ago. His words to me were, "with great power comes great responsibility". Little did he know of the cosmic significance that simple gesture held, because the minute I turned on the game, picked my cute little Squirtle, and embarked on my adventure, I was hooked.

My parents often tease me nowadays: "Are you a Pokémon master yet?" To which I respond with a stoic expression and a carefully placed, "Soon, mom and dad. Soon."

My current favorite Pokémon game to date is Black, and prior to that it was Soul Silver. Sometimes I play competitively but usually I just breed top percentage 'mons that can be used competitively. My favorite Pokémon ever is Togekiss. And I want to hug one. Also, Whitney is the cutest gym leader and you know it.

I've got my first Pokemon game back when I was 6 years old during Christmas, I got it as a birthday present and got the emulator as a birthday present. Thank you very much for your kind welcome! I learned many years after that my dad basically just regurgitated what Uncle Ben said to Spiderman, to me. But he got me my first Pokémon game, so his plagiarism is very easily forgiven!

Snivy is also very adorable and I didn't even hesitate when I picked one as my starter when I first got Black. She ended up being a girl, so I named her Lucy.

Well, thanks! It's good to know I succeeded with my overzealous entrance. And no, I'm not very cute. Maybe I'll post a photo in the picture thread after I've been around for a while, hah. And yes! Togekiss seems so soft and nice to hug! Ugh, I want one.

I hope you don't look like Mr Burns when talking to your parents... but I can't imagine many 16-year-old girls looking like Mr Burns, so you're probably OK. Anyhoo, welcome to PC. I'm sure you'll find lots of other Pokemon Masters-in-training to get to know, and there are plenty of other people who like Togekiss a lot (including me!); your love of Whitney might be a bit harder for many people to accept because of her DAMN MILTANK! but I'm sure you'll find lots of people here to talk to. I have a similar story to you! I started playing when I was that young too, Purple Gameboy Color, I got my squirtle, and proceded to dominate the pokeworld >: )

We differ sadly though - I went for Heartgold instead of SS. I got black though! Almost through with it I picked it up late -_-;
