Ability Breeding Help

    Hey I've been trying to find out the rates that abilities get passed from parents to eggs but different websites have different percentages. it's really confusing. anyways. here's the questions:

    What is the rate that a :
    • female passes on it's hidden ability (some say 80 or 60%)
    • female passes on it's normal ability when the female only has a normal ability (i've read 80%)
    • male passes on it's hidden ability when breeding with ditto (heard its lower than a female but heard its 60% as well....)
    • male passes on its hidden ability when breeding with female of same species (heard that only female is taken into account)
    • male passes on normal ability when breeding with ditto or same species
    • genderless pokemon passing its hidden ability when breeding with ditto (i've heard 60%)
    • genderless pokemon passing on its normal ability when breeding with ditto

    And finally. does the number of abilities a pokemon can have affect the rates as some pokemon have 2 normal abilities plus one hidden whereas some only have one normal ability and one hidden.

    Are you sure about this? I always thought it was a 20% chance.

    From Bulbapedia:
    'Before Generation VI, it was not possible for male or genderless Pokémon to pass down their Ability in any way. Starting in Generation VI, however, if these Pokémon have their Hidden Ability and are bred with Ditto, they have a 20% chance to pass it down to their offspring. Ditto's Ability is always irrelevant to inheritance.'
     
    I don't know percentages but males can pass down a hidden ability with a Ditto now.
     
    i was breeding a male talonflame with a ditto and it seemed the chance was around 60% which backs up other websites but i'm not entirely sure. i always try to get a female to use as the master breeder to breed more competitive pokemon.
